  • New Rogue antivirus,Your pc protector Changes DNS visit my channel for details!Thank You!

  • fake google webpage does that

  • "No problem in Firefox"?!? Nonsense. I like Firefox, but it's been rather vulnerable to all sorts of trojans lately, in particular the DNS changer.

  • Yeah only the Firefoxx works Internet Explorer dont or Windows Live Messenger

  • cadillac8071, download a free program like VIPRE or MalwareBytes, or Adaware.

  • i got have the problem in firefox and i copy and paste the url i ran tons of scans and I am getting nothing in the address bar and that does not redirt me

  • mcrmadfan, what do you need help with?

  • i have a video of this can you help me

  • That's a swell video telling us what the problem is, but it's not a hell of alot of use without a few words saying how you can get rid of it.

  • My mac had 1000 spyware files and 5 viruses. None of them do anything thought as they are not meant for the Mac. I have Macscan which deleted them.

  • They WILL be doing something and you won't even realise

  • I had this, and malwarebytes is the only program that managed to pick it up!!! Spyhunter failed, SVG failed and Ad-Aware failed.

  • Yes, me too! Also, I want to delete IE! All spyware virus point to Microsoft

  • "All spyware virus point to Microsoft"

Really? Wow, probably explains why your so quick to blame a company that had nothing to do with the attack in this video.

It was user error that allow this to happen.

I guess you could always buy a mac, although they are getting trojans written for them now too. No OS is safe.

  • this is the main reason not to use IE

  • If you look at the start, he downloads the trojan, it *wasn't* a IE exploit.

Also the redirection is through DNS (probably the "hosts" file), it has nothing to do with the OS or the browser.

  • It changes the TCP/IP settings of your connections to its own DNS server. It's not the HOSTS file.

  • I've just got this problem using Firefox, so in this case it's not IE's fault.

Still, I'm very much a firefox man.
