Wish I had a hangglider too. Been my wish to fly since childhood but sadly I will probably die without the experience. Atleast you are living my dream there. Lucky you.
Are you thinking "find lift" or "where do I land?" Too bad you found no lift. The clouds and sky indicate lift is available. Hint: don't fly down the middle of valleys.
After 30 years in the saddle I`m not exactly known for "where do I land" , or "flying down middle of "valleys""Mr.Thermalf.. And if you look closely I seek under fresh clouds. Hint; If you see a great Cu developing, don`t fly around it even if its a valley beneath..
And if you look even closer, this "valley" have zero landings, but a lot of landings on both mountainsides..
I'm glad you're Ok. Thanks for posting. If you had a landing-chute maybe you'll have a better landing. I confess, I never use mine.... I should deploy it for training purposes just in case.
Thank for sharing. But after 28 years of XC flying without any hazards I promise you it will take a LONG time until I end up without landings again. 10 km up I overfliew a big acre...
No problem, I hope somebody will safe down on a big field before getting low in Nomansland. In fact I overfliew a big acre 10 km up. But it was a great XCflight until this happened, and its easy to analyze sitting safe in the sofa afterwards..
that landing was scary.

Wow, that took stones. So did posting it and thanks for sharing.
Any reason why you leave the protective cover at the top of the down tubes?
I am new on my T2 - I'll try to learn from your mistake. I don't want to make it myself ;-)
