It's great to see Deerhunter playing this (even though they're probably just Wes Anderson fans more than anything else), but Cox's voice doesn't even approach the ferocity of Walker's. Also, the simplicity of sound from the original didn't quite crossover here. A good cover, but no Goliath like the original.

@mathrocksman Does it really matter if they just heard the song on the Life Aquatic Soundtrack? The conclusion is the same, they found a piece of music that they loved. Why should the method of finding something you enjoy matter as long as you end up with the same appreciation.
