Mr Tone King. i hear you play guitars and such all the time but never heard you do a cover of a song or your own personal song. Can you do a cover of Children of Bodom on that guitar?
Hey, if you were to compare the BC Rich NJ Deluxe Warbeast to the Kerry King Signature Wartribe you reviewed in another video, which would you say was better?
wew!! she,s fine cant wait too get my platinum warlock,,,she beautifull and sounds great and i love the binding and profile, LOVE THE EBONY BOARD!! way to go b c rich,, yes thats how to do it!! peace!
I always felt like BC Richs were like axes and blades. I always thought that'd be cool to make a music video where a gladiator is slicing through his enemies with a like a worlock a speed v. BC Rich and Dean are my favorite companies.
I must know one thing I play my guitar to where the strings are extremly close to the fretboard and i have heard that this has a very high action can you change it so its very close like milimeter close???? That is the only thing that is keeping me from buying this guitar. Please help
NJ stands for Nagoya Japan (I might have spelled it wrong) people just think its New Jersey... but really I have an NJ Beast and on the back of the headstock it says made in Korea.
on the BC Rich website, they list the NJ deluxe warlock as being made of NATO (eastern mahogany), but they also list the NJ deluxe warbeast as being made of mahogany. First, why the difference, or is that merely an error on the website and they're both constructed of mahogany? I thnk I would prefer mahogany over NATO, but its not like it would make that much of a difference...unless you happen to be a tione purist, of course.
please the tone king , ive been watching u for a very long time , but is this better then the signature v kerry king V , the one for 999 ? and why dont u speak more about the guitar than the look ? is the guitar shit ? is the only good thing the look or what
probably is better than the kk one.. and no the guitar is not shit.. can you hear the guitar? emg 81 85 active pickups and original trem.. man this guitar is not crappy, you need to stop asking questions and just hear the guitar play. does it sound good? theres your answer :]
EMG 81-85 set gives almost always the same tonal quality on any guitar provided with a certain quality wood combination and pickups can be put easily on any other guitar anyway. But original tremolo is indeed an important feature since it's such a big pain to find the suitable bridge and have it installed on your guitar afterwards. Yet there are many other stages affecting the sound you get from a guitar and actually the only sonor judgement about a guitar can be made acoustically..
yhea i kinda agree but, well isnt that waht we want always?? erfection plus theres no sucj thing as " too perfect" theres only , perfection and nonperfection
hello Tone King... again very good review... how to say it... impressive!!! very good idea with the lights off... guitar looks very very badass, absolutely nice... but I quite don't prefer body binding but instead it's become my dream guitar for now... continue your reviews... good luck... :)
Nice choice for a Friday the 13th guitar. Though not my style at all. The last BC Rich I liked was a late 70's Mockingbird a local collector has. Keep up the great reviews.
Hey Chris - Plays real nice. Beautiful fret work, smooth neck, very smooth neck heel. Very easy to play. It's also not a heavy guitar despite its size. Overall - I'd say it plays very nice. BC Rich does a great job on their necks - again, very easy, very comfortable. Thanks for the comment!! Have a great wkend.
@lmsjr your right bc rich does do good job on there necks my newest guitar is a mockingbird arch top acrylic and man i gotta tell u the neck and action in the strings and all that stuff is unbeilivable dispite its size and weight bc rich rocks!!!
I can't get past the look on 80% of their stuff. Its just cheesy shapes aimed at little kids for the most part. I'm honestly amazed they don't sell them at Hot Topic.
Yeah i think the same... lol... Id much much rather prefer an ESP than B.C. Rich for my taste. Im not against it in anyway, they are great: (EMG 81+85, Neck thru, Flyd rose etc) but i just dont feel the cheesy shapes... Another good thing about bc rich is that its not one least bit over rated like gibson and fender. But to me ESP makes the better guitars. Not in tone, they sound about the same, but in looks and quality... I still like some of the bc rich guitars...
hey slighe - I just posted the info on my website. visit my website, and click on The Gear - you'll see more info on this, that answers your question. Thanks for watching!!
Hey TK, I know how your into B.C. Rich guitars.. So thats why I'm gonna tell you about his sons handmade custom guitars. (The worlds finest EVER). I would encourage you to look up Bernie Rico Jr. and you won't be disappointed at all.
Rush - Thanks for the tip. I actually own 2 Rico Jr. Guitars - both NAMM models (Gary Holt Sig series :-). Yes, they are great guitars - just unusually expensive !! Thanks for reaching out bro! Take care!!
Rush - me again. Check out 2 of my videos, and you'll see the Rico Jr.s in action. One vid is the Bugera 333XL vs. 6260 shoot-out. Other is the Floyd Rose setup vid. I have 3 FR vids - the one w/ the Rico Jr. is the 1st one cut (the oldest). Hope you enjoy the vids!
TTK I like the same gear and music you like, I just never got into the really pointy guitars. my favorite bc rich is the bich 10 string and I really like the explorer body style( I have a Hamer std). and of course superstrats( I have an esp m1std)
stymye - very cool. Thanks for sharing. yes - the Bich 10 is awesome. Did you check out BC Rich's new doubleneck? It is the Bich body style - w/ a 6/12 string. It's killer. Check it out - let me know what you think. It's on the BC RIch website - new for 2009. Thanks. Have a great wkend.

EMG 81 and 85's are used a lil tooo much, id use seymours instead more.
musicaddict333 2 years ago
Yeah, EMG's only sound good through high-gain tubes, which not everyone has. Seymours (particularly the JB) sound constantly good through all amps.
cohen5250 2 years ago 6
what about the seymour blackouts? ive heard they're better than the emg's and they are cheaper too.
zomgzomglawlawlawl 2 years ago
From what i've heard, EMGs are still better for metal while Blackouts are better for everything else.
cohen5250 2 years ago
If you want metal tones, go with the Blackouts AHB-2 metal w/ switch. (look it up and you will understand)
Geetarfrik 2 years ago
