  • Darn you good at this , do you sell your art work?

  • What canvas are you using and how much did it cost?

  • how does he make the background so smooth? i just cant seem to get the same effect...

  • gahhhh i really want to knokw what kind of brush he was using to paint the leaves...it doesnt really look like a fan brush but maybe im wrong?

  • Does anyone one know the type of brush he is using to make the leaves on the tree?

  • @xDorkiBunny i think its the 'fan brush' search it on googlr u'll get it

  • i liked seeing his head bop left and right haha.

  • can you put tape on oil painting too?

  • @ventura961212 no you cant because oil painting is hard to dry and you would have to wait till it dries is better if you use acrylic

  • So creative! Love the crisp edges and different autumn colors.

  • awesooome *___*

  • so flippin' cool :O

  • great stuff.

  • Must say I preferred it before you began to dither with the bottom of the painting. The solid block of colour was a nice counter part to the upper strips. You clearly were undecided about it to as you went over it several times.

    Other than that very nice.

  • Damn that's a really nice painting. I wouldn't mind having that on my wall.

  • You are very talented.

  • techno makes everything worse

  • how is this 'speed painting'?

  • @memberHD Speed is a relative thing, most realism styled paintings are done over the course of days-weeks depending on size/schedule/deadline(s) Speed painting is usually done in one sitting over the course of several hours and is dependent on the skill of the artist using shorthand techniques to get the effects that would look like they took days.

  • @memberHD He meant it by the time lapse

  • dat skill

  • Sweet mother of god.

  • This wants ppl to subscribe but he doesn't answer questions, WTF!!!!!!

  • if i knew how to do this last year, maybe i would've gotten an a in art instead of a c+.

    this is just... amaizing. (:

  • Do you use oil or acrylic? Please answer me :)

  • @kittysaurusRAWR it says it in the title, yes he uses arcrylic

  • @kittysaurusRAWR oil is older and i guess kind of a classic but, most peoples tend to go for acrylic it the exact same thing but you can wash you and your brushes with water:) ps: it dosin't wash off clothing...:'( lol

  • Wow

  • What brushes are u using for painting the leaves??

  • @sweetvampy5 probably a fan brush

  • That is very nice idea. Great work!

  • 1,000 Thumps up!! If i can possibly give to you!!

  • This might have just become my new favorite painting of yours! Absolutely stunning!

  • beyond awesome!

  • :)

  • Your my landscape painting hero Tim, your always coming up with a different vision on how to handle a landscape! Once again Bravo to you!

  • nice =)

  • This is the kind of music you need to add to your videos!

  • excelentt!!!!

  • AWESOME!!! can you please tell me what bushes do you use?

  • Tim I need your help, How do I use tape on the canvas without peeling off the paint when I take it offf?

  • @memeception did you wait for the paint to dry before peeling the tape off?

  • @kkkkkkkkkk955 Yeah but it keeps peeling off. I use the beige scotch tape like tim has and I even tried peeling very slowly but it doesn't work. lol

  • @memeception i don't have beige scotch tape.. so I used clear packing tape but it worked as well. I don't know about your case. I hope Tim will answer your question soon :)

  • @kkkkkkkkkk955 Thank, I'll try that. and thanks again. :)

  • @memeception I always remove the tape while its wet so it doesn't peel the paint off. Since acrylic dries as a film, it can easily pull off if its dry, and you are pulling from behind the paint. Try pulling the tape off right away, and pull the tape up toward the paint so the paint doesn't leak below the level line of the tape.

  • @gagnonstudio I tried it, and it worked. Thanks for your help Tim! :)

  • @kkkkkkkkkk955

i think its best to remove tape before its dry otherwise it can pull the paint off with it.

  • You're painting are so good that I "LIKE" your videos before I even watch them

  • dude. amazing.

I wish I could buy that!

  • Hey Tim I have a question what is your technique for the leaves on your trees? i have tried and tried and tried but it always comes out splotchy and messy looking please reply back thanks,

    screamingshadows19

  • @screamingshadows19 I kinda notice that Tim applies at least 4 layers of different colors on the leaves. The darkest color is the first layer and then lighten up. It creates the "3D" effect. Let's practice together! :)

  • @kkkkkkkkkk955 Yeah i'v noticed that to but the only thing that gets me is the type of acrylic paint he uses i just use the regular apple barrel stuff at walmart and idk what he uses to make the color so bold but yeah either way iv learned alot

  • WOW!

  • Thanks for sharing, Tim! I love, love, love your work!

  • You are a wonderful and inspiring painter... and soooo creative With your talent.

  • I know you probably hear this all the time, but wow! You are an incredible artist. So inspiring. Never stop painting, have a wonderful day.

  • I love you paintings sooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!

  • Could your do a painting on our U.S Marine Corps? I'd really love to see one by you.

  • Good one very enjoyable as always :-)

  • How long did this take?

And, what kind of brush do you use to paint the leaves on the tree? I generally use a fan brush for things like that, but I can't tell if that's what you're using or not.

  • like your style of using departure with the straight lines. but still very color relevant. ie matching. very nice -- gotta try some painting myself.l..thanks

  • incredible!!

  • Your art is wonderful well done. Music not bad either.

  • great earthy colours :)

  • Very interesting. All of fall in one painting. Lovely complementary colors

  • I am learning from you.

  • @Muzankov i am too i have improved a lot from watching tims videos

  • Brilliant!!!!!!

  • hi Tim, what brush did you use to paint the leaves?

  • @kkkkkkkkkk955 i want to know as well bc i use a fan brush but it makes the tree leaves look all splotchy

  • @screamingshadows19 I saw Bob Ross using fan brush to paint pine trees and other artists on Youtube use fan brushes to paint leaves, too. But mine fan brushes can't create the same effect....or maybe it's just me :( By far, Tim has the techniques that I love the most! I have been practicing with a 12 flat recently and it looks great.

  • Another great video! Thanks for sharing, now I'm going to try a similar technique myself... and please, correct the spelling of the word "canvas" on the title of the video.

  • my inspiration!! <3 I absolutely love you!!!

  • i wish i could paint like you...

  • @JellyBeanSoda what stops you from doing so?

  • @JellyBeanSoda u can

  • you spelled canvas wrong Tim*

  • love the clean lines and simplistic statement- very harmonious.
