Sorry to say but this looks really cheap..only Pixar and Dreamworks are able to make great CGI films..they should have really put more time and effort into this film. When are people ever going to learn if all you do is praise a film such as this. Sorry, but that's probably why it stunk in the box office. It's just bad promotions for the film where everything just seems so bland and nothing whatsoever catches your attention. So sad cause the Philippines are 20 years behind everyone else.

Oh also, the framerate becomes a bit choppy during the in game scenes and it was a deliberate thing. Otherwise, outside of the game, the framerate is completely fine (^o^)v
I love this movie. I love the animation, very creative, great cinematography, and the expressions are very well done. And I actually appreciate the dubbing XD I love Mang Ernie's voice actor. I dunno why but it was easy for me to discern who was talking XD The music was inspired. Overall the movie had great substance.

I'll stake my reputation on this, but this is One of the best Filipino Films, possibly of all time. A directorial triumph. Screen writing = perfect. Watch it again 4 easter eggs & metaphors. Very technical directing... think Hayao Miyasaki. Take note, I rated rosario=1 star (its that bad), this is 5 stars. The exactness of language, Proper restraint, appropriateness of music and characters, color. Forget the jittery animation coz it doesn't take anything away from this gem. Absolutely brilliant.
@sigarista: Hoodwinked is still an american movie catered for the american audience. RPG Metanoia was made here in the Philippines, story is in a Filipino setting, handled by Filipino staff and animators, voiced by Filipino actors, and released here in the Philippines for the Filipino audience.

watched it. lamest voice acting i've seen so far. the concept is so-so but the storyline is corny. is it just me or what? i won't say anything bad about the "graphics" since i know 3D animation and it's not a joke.~_~

Framerate is the problem of the movie but this made a move para makilala ang Pilipinas sa CGI movies. I hope that AmbientMedia will make another movie with a better quality that is optimized for 3D. The 3D effect kasi is not that perfected but it is close enough.
This is fron a guy who doesn't really watch (nor appreciates that much) the local film industry, and only wanted watch the movie to make fun of it because I thought it was funny that the framerate during the trailer was loco.
Suffice to say, I left the movie pleasantly surprised. Sure, some technical aspects still need a lot more work (i.e. dubbing, etc.), but it was a great movie overall.
For those ranting on about how "low-quality" the movie is because of the framerate, well if you actually watched the movie, you'd notice that the framerate would only get like that when the characters login to the game.
In essence, it was supposed to be a play on the "lag" and framerate of online games (which for most aren't that smooth).

You don't have to compare this with American/Foreign made 3D films. Be realistic guys, iba yung sa kanila dahil may pera naman talaga sila, but if nagkataon na may pera rin naman tayo, sureball makakagawa rin tayo ng kapantay ng gawa nila.
Lets learn to support our own country's efforts and be proud na kahit papaano eh umuusbong tayo paunti unti sa iba't ibang larangan.

Oh also, the framerate becomes a bit choppy during the in game scenes and it was a deliberate thing. Otherwise, outside of the game, the framerate is completely fine (^o^)v

I love this movie. I love the animation, very creative, great cinematography, and the expressions are very well done. And I actually appreciate the dubbing XD I love Mang Ernie's voice actor. I dunno why but it was easy for me to discern who was talking XD The music was inspired. Overall the movie had great substance.

I'll stake my reputation on this, but this is One of the best Filipino Films, possibly of all time. A directorial triumph. Screen writing = perfect. Watch it again 4 easter eggs & metaphors. Very technical directing... think Hayao Miyasaki. Take note, I rated rosario=1 star (its that bad), this is 5 stars. The exactness of language, Proper restraint, appropriateness of music and characters, color. Forget the jittery animation coz it doesn't take anything away from this gem. Absolutely brilliant.

@sigarista: Hoodwinked is still an american movie catered for the american audience. RPG Metanoia was made here in the Philippines, story is in a Filipino setting, handled by Filipino staff and animators, voiced by Filipino actors, and released here in the Philippines for the Filipino audience.

Hindi ito yung Blu-Ray na pirated DVD na mabibili kung saan-saan.
Framerate is the problem of the movie but this made a move para makilala ang Pilipinas sa CGI movies. I hope that AmbientMedia will make another movie with a better quality that is optimized for 3D. The 3D effect kasi is not that perfected but it is close enough.

This is fron a guy who doesn't really watch (nor appreciates that much) the local film industry, and only wanted watch the movie to make fun of it because I thought it was funny that the framerate during the trailer was loco.
Suffice to say, I left the movie pleasantly surprised. Sure, some technical aspects still need a lot more work (i.e. dubbing, etc.), but it was a great movie overall.

For those ranting on about how "low-quality" the movie is because of the framerate, well if you actually watched the movie, you'd notice that the framerate would only get like that when the characters login to the game.
In essence, it was supposed to be a play on the "lag" and framerate of online games (which for most aren't that smooth).
