I learned Kick Boxing from him in eastern-rural Utah when I was young... When he left it was somewhat a mystery of why or where he went... he ran the town's only tree-cutting business, I made it to brown belt under his instruction. Good man taught me how to stand up to my bullies.

Dan used to come to my high school and talk to us, and then break baseball bats, bricks, and coconuts.  Sorry to hear he is gone...
