Your video introduced me to those Simpson Strongtie's, which is great, since I need to build a gate soon. I have a question regarding the type you used, though. I went to Home Depot and they had several different types, Some for 1x post and beam installation, and some for 4x post and beam installation, except that they looked almost identical. If you can recall, can you tell me which type you used, or if there's some sort of appreciable difference between the various kinds? Thanks!

@gruvngyrl I was using a simple corner brace, if you cannot find a strongtie brand one, use any 6 or 8" corner brace, they are very common at any hardware or lumber supply
