This girl is one of the best singers around today - and not just in Australia. Pity the world of "pop music" isn't necessarily interested in great singers tho. Oh and she takes big breaths to sustain those incredible notes. I think people aren't used to hearing proper singing - they get so used to autotuned mics and weak vocals smothered in techno effects.
@snukaism You know, that is a really ignorant and ridiculous comment. There are a lot of fantastic artists around who can't "make hits" because the world of "hits" is so narrow and not necessarily great music. There's a lot of shit around in the charts if you haven't noticed. BUT Paulini is writing songs for other people in Europe (doing fine w that), still singing at gigs, taking acting roles etc etc. There's more to working in music than the poxy charts. And in no way does she "suck" anyway.
@dmerhts I agree. Her "breathing" is a part of Paulini's style and you know she's doing it because she's putting so much into her performance. All it does is enhance the singing and the feeling/soul she exudes. Have you seen her recent performance of Faure's Requiem in the ABC tv show? do a search for it. Very beautiful.
She's good but in nearly ALL her video's of her singing, I've noticed that she has breathing problems........ she takes BIG breaths and there VERY noticeable and doesn't sound good....but SHE DID A WONDERFUL JOB! :) Go paulini
I've never heard this song sung better by anyone other. I don't always like Paulini's song choices, but whatever song she sings, she has better voice control than any other female singer, and that includes original artists as well. Paulini is generally recognised to be a fine singer, though in reality she is the best the world has seen thus far. Mainly talking about the voice here.

Are u on crack......please she is ok,but i,ve seen way to many singers like her come and go.Put out her own hits maybe we can see some talent.
