A notable example of not blinking is The Family of Blood in the previous two episodes. Especially the one called 'Son of Mine', his eyes were always wide open in each of his scenes.
If it were me facing those angels, I'd be pretty much screwed as I can't keep my eyes open without blinking for long.
I don't even watch this show and these fucking things scare the shit out of me.
