  • Notwistanding the fact that the TARDIS has taken far worse than photon torpedoes and phaser fire, this is the argument always trotted out for why other characters, especially Action Heroes, are superior to the Doctor. They have Guns/weapons/fighting skills/Superpowers. They would shoot/blast/kick/punch him. Case in point, guess what you get if you enter the words Doctor Who and Superman into Google. Go on, guess.

  • Here's my equation for an awsome Dr. Who/Star Trek crossover

Data + Spock + The Doctor = MIND FULLY BLOWN

  • Me and my friend are making a Star Trek/Doctor Who book. If it gets published I'll let you know. ^^

  • LOL....

the scream singing...it just catches you off guard....

  • Picard listens to Data's analysis: "Captain, That man has high levels of annoyability." Picard responds, "Mr.Worf. Full spread of photon torpedoes! FIRE!"

  • @Velocity9s And when they detonate against the TARDIS harmlessly?

  • @mahony323 Picard uses an old ploy known as The Corbomite Manuever...If that fails, he rams the Tardis. If that fails he....uh...nevermind.

  • I must say I like how you brought this together. It was a perfect 'meld'.

  • Thats not the Federation... it's the Terran Empire!!!

  • Damnit Jim I'm A Doctor Not "The Doctor"

  • "It's design is completely foreign."??? A mid-20ieth London Police-Call Box is unrecognizable to Entertprise history banks? I know some events in history are lost but come ON!

  • @Velocity9s Agreed! LOL

  • @101jir And when they detonate against the TARDIS harmlessly?

  • @mahony323 At least the shape would not be foreign. Also, they made that comment before they attacked it. Only thing left is that their sensors detected its unusual attributes. Normally, they will at least mention if the shape appears familiar.

  • when i first saw tullogh i thought he was adric grown up

  • the beginning and end are like red Rorshach blots coming at me o_0

  • *grins* Very clever editing!

  • Turn the Doctor over to the BORG!

  • @CherryONeil He's been fighting the Cybermen for 45 years, the Borg would be familiar territory ;~)

  • 121 people are mad they cannot spell who

  • That was amazing!!

How long did it take you to fit the scenes together that well?

Anyway, I loved it! My two most favourite things in one video :)

  • amazing how well the tunes go together....

  • Adric's "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" FTW! That is the definition of no.

  • The new Dr Who universe colliding with FIrefly's. Now THERE'S something I'd love to see!

  • @aragorn202 And there goes what's left of my mind just imagining what would go down...

  • O noes

  • It is a pity Dr Who never met Blake's seven, that would have been great in billions of ways.

  • @rojblake82 Cough Kaldor City Cough

  • @PringlesJingles Carnell, the Blakes 7 character from Kaldor City, also appears in Corpse Marker, the Doctor Who novel which was a sequel to The Robots of Death. Because both it and Kaldor City are by Chris Boucher, who wrote The Robots of Death and Weapon, the Blakes 7 episode Carnell. was in.

  • @rojblake82 And they were both BBC series running at the same time. A crossover would have been so terribly easy to do!

  • @BinroWasRight Terry Nation wanted the Daleks to be in Blakes 7, b ut it wasn't allowed.

  • @mahony323 I'd wager Terry Nation wanted the Daleks in everything, including American TV ;~). That being said, I think that would have been very interesting. The Daleks certainly lend themselves to the gritty sort of stories Blake's 7 did. And there's no reason why Doctor Who and Blake's 7 couldn't be set in the same universe. There is even a Federation in Earth's future on DW

  • @BinroWasRight It's not the Terran Federation, though. The truth is that putting the Daleks in Blakes 7 would be claiming it's a Doctor Who spin-off, so personally I'm glad they didn't.

  • @BinroWasRight Terry signed a deal for the Daleks to get their own show on American TV, and wrote a script for a pilot which was recently made as an audio drama. The Evil of the Daleks in 1967 was intended to write them out of Doctor Who, but it fell through so they weren't, which was a good thing in the long run.

  • russel t davies almost made a star trek dr who crossover a shame it never happend but you never know it could happen still

  • @luigi19987 It really has happened. Just not on screen.

  • I'm not a big fan of Star Trek to be honest, but this was really well put together, nice.

  • I love that " there's great hostility behind his smile ". I couldn't imagine the Doctor for one moment being like that lol.

  • Aghhhh this is annoying because i know ive seen a Dr Who/Star Trek crossover of some sort but cant remember where or what format,it was either cartoon or graphic novel though and it was Tom Baker and TOS

  • @wildfire160 That's The Doctor and The Enterprise, a fanzine story that was eventually published with the character names changed. In fanfiction Doctor Who and Star Trek have crossed over a million times, so it's a good thing it's happened elsewhere.

By the way, one other thing I didn't mention was Party Animals, a Doctor Who Magazine comic strip story where we saw characters from Star Trek, Marvel Comics, Sapphire and Steel, John Steed and Emma Peel and even Conan.

  • @wildfire160 And I think Bart Simpson is seen in one panel.

  • So the incarnation of The Doctor from this video implies he knows the Captain from this video.

  • The Ffth Doctor novel is called The Crystal Bucephalus. The Doctor in one scene is given a mug of tea and smiles that he always recommends tea-Earl Grey-hot-to all his friends.

  • The Doctor actually appeared in the Star Trek novel Ishmael, as a hologram in My Enemy, My Ally, appeared on a magazine cover with Spock, Captain Picard and Dave Lister once-I remember seeing it-there was a novel where The Fifth Doctor implied he knew Captain Picard, and Doctor Who vs Star Trek was in the last issue of Wizard Magazine. So it is rather silly going on about what would happen, when it has happened. A few times.

  • If you asked me the reason Picard and the others kidnap Adric is because their thought the Doctor and his companions where evil their later founded out he was in fact good

and teamed up to fight the REAL bad guy's hopefully Daleks since their rock.

  • love your vid

  • FAIL. LOL Just kidding. It was ok

  • Thanks! That was fun!

But what I wanna know is why that lady swallowed a cat to sing the Theme song.....

  • The Enterprise is small time against a rogue timelord.

  • Which Star Trek episode did you use to make this?

  • @TheLadyRomana Well, the first episode I recognize from "the Survivors", the one with the old man who "rebuilt" his wife and house after it was destroyed by a belligerant race that he eventually destroyed. I don't recognize some of the others, though.

  • Clever mashup.

  • I bet Q is the Doctor in a few hundred years

  • @roxlikepeter I'm not going to make a comment on the obvious fallacy of that statement...you know, other then this one.

  • @roxlikepeter Why haven't I ever thought of that?? Of course, that must be it! That's why he is so annoying sometimes... after all, the doctor can be very irritating for anyone not used to him... :)

  • @roxlikepeter The doctor will never be that annoying

  • Only one problem with this vid. Who are the good guys? Who are the bad guys? Aren't they both the good guys! NO! My brains rebelling! Cannot handle this concept!

  • PIcard shot at Doctor Who.... >=(

  • I think there was a miss calculation witht the nutron flow....

  • its just a thought, I would like to have the Doctor face off with the annoying Q entity

  • nnNNOOOOoo!

  • I watched this like 3 years ago and have been searching for it ever since. Great to see it again.

  • NOICE!

  • themes funny in this

  • you got your "exterminate!!" in my "assimilate!!"....well you got your "assimilate!!" in my "exterminate!!"

  • nice, but i would like to think that they would be able to work together blah blah blah. Great video.

  • Very good, actually! :D I would have completely believed it if it weren't for the part at 3:08, Picard's shoulder XD

That, and like DarkLucifer08 said, they'd have NEVER responded to the Doctor like that :D

  • what epsiode was turlogh and tegan in and the doc which one

  • Bahaha The Enterprise vs the TARDIS?? Its like cave men threatening an F-22 with spears and rocks.

  • @Fhilbo LMAO XD I couldn't stop laughing at that for 20 minutes, you're absolutely right XD

  • @Fhilbo More like threatening an airliner; I believe the Doctor's TARDIS doesn't have offensive weaponry. Assuming the Doctor doesn't have the TARDIS's shields off, it'll take nothing from the Enterprise. Then knowing the Doctor, he'd land the TARDIS inside the Enterprise and go from there.

  • WONDERFUL! LOVE THE SINGING!

  • Well done!

  • Interestingly, in the Doctor Who serial "The Power of the Daleks", they introduce a planet called Vulcan, but just to be clear, Star Trek premiered 2 months before this serial aired in 1966.

  • @electricmastro But did The Man Trap mention The Planet Vulcan?

  • @electricmastro Vulcan was a human colony in DW, nothing like ST's Vulcan. The political intrigue in that story is also at odds with the latter.

  • @electricmastro The name Vulcan wasn't actually used in Star Trek until 1968. So Doctor Who used it first. Just to be clear.

  • @MrMarvel323 Where did you get that 1968 number? Spock is refered to as a " part Vulcanian" by Harry Mudd in the first season episode, (10/13/1966) "Mudd's Women." The planet is explicitly named and visited in the second season episode, ( 9/15/1967) "Amok Time."

Mythology used the term vulcan before any television show.

  • @Internetizen02 Of course. Vulcan, the Roman god of fire. Actually, that number came from someone on another video, blame them. The Doctor's home planet is Gallifrey, which unlike Vulcan or for that matter, Krypton, is an invented name by Robert Holmes.

  • That was pretty well put together. Good work!

  • Not half bad! :)

  • i there is one thing i love about movies, its crossovers. This is a good movie.

  • Not the best I've seen but it's good!

  • very good editing, well done

  • Damn Starfleet's always shovin' their Federation weight around like that. Buncha militaristic alpha males.

  • Matthew Waterhouse versus Wil Wheaton.

  • Comment removed

  • what's up with the opera voice?

  • @Dynamicfaithfullove I'd guess a reference to the original Star Trek theme.

  • It's what of the coolest ideas, Dr Who meeting Star Trek there could be many incredible adventures..........

  • When the Cybermen reappeared in 2006 they were accused of ripping off The Borg.

    True.

  • this is actually a good crossover. the only other good one is bewteen the daleks and the borg completely in cgi. others are plain shocking, most models or voiceovers

  • Actually my favorite Star Trek series is Enterprise.

  • aww, the next generation! Best star trek series.

  • 4:11 giant TARDIS XD

  • The Star Trek crew are superior because they are the ones with all the GUNS. Right.

Nothing the Enterprise can do can harm the TARDIS.

  • @dantesdivinecomedy23 But it can be bounced around to the point that living inside it becomes...difficult.

  • @SCE2AUX The TARDIS does not bounce around. It does not move. Besides, how many...years can they keep it up for?

  • This is EPIC!

  • The idea of these 2 shows kinda.. running into one another is a good idea.. im surprised no one has done this.. someone really should make a cross over with these 2 shows.. maybe not THIS star trek.. but.. some kind of cross over would be cool.

  • @Lianas1980 they actually were planning to cross over the original star trek w/ Doctor Who, but Star Trek got cancelled before they could make it a reality

  • 3;17 doctor studders lol

  • Terrific, well done.

  • Hahaha...I don't get it....O.o

  • The Enterprise screen shot of the Tardis at 1:52 is PERFECT!

  • its funny cause they are both british

  • LMAO!

  • great video, but Picard and Co. would never have responded to the Doctor like that. Still, it was fun to watch.

  • I agree

  • @DarthLucifer08 Yes, Picard and Co. would respond like that. Bunch of bureaucrats and military thugs. I have no problem believing that the Federation of Star Trek is one and the same with the Federation of Blake's 7. Star Trek is the propaganda version.

  • @DarthLucifer08

You are correct that Picard et. al would not have responded that way. Neither would Kirk, Sisko or Janeway respond that way. It isn't the Starfleet way.

They probably would have beamed them aboard and had a meeting in the captain's ready room/briefing room on how to get the Doctor and his companions back to where they came from.

  • @Internetizen02 They're there because the TARDIS landed there. But you're right. This is the crap. You know the crap. The who-wins-a-fight-crap.

  • @MrMarvel323 Yes, but how and why did the TARDIS land there? Those are the types of questions that the plot would need to deal with....and how to get them back. In "Star Trek The Next Generation" terms it would almost certainly be explained as some kind of "anomaly" and the "Star Trek" side would have a meeting with technobabble on how to explain it. For example, they might go with the "quantum multiverse" idea from "Parallels."

  • @Internetizen02 Well, that would depend on whether they exist in two different universes in said story or not. It could just be story in which they coexist. There was a Star Trek novel once called Ishmael which apparently featured cameos by not only The Doctor, but Han Solo, Apollo and Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica and characters from a few other shows. They were not actually named but described. So I suppose that is the closest to an actual crossover there's been.

  • @DarthLucifer08 Hey, they might have responded like that, who's to say torchwood wouldnt have its branch in starfleet. That was a fun video to watch, good work.

  • love Adric's dramatic yell at the end! X)

  • lol nice work

  • Yes, and Lt.C. Data has K-nine as a pet!! :-D

  • need to see daleks vs borg or something like that.

    "exterminate!!" "assimilate!!"

  • @walter0bz Resistance is futile!

  • @walter0bz I think the borg and cybermen are more similar though.

  • @rhinoburger - ok borg vs cybermen for a more evenly matched encounter.

and daleks vs who... klingons? species 8472?

  • @walter0bz

YES! i wonder who would win...?

  • @walter0bz A Dalek drone, THAT would be strange.

  • @walter0bz That would be too redundant since that's already happened with Daleks and Cybermen.

  • @angelix,

well, it hasn't been done with Daleks and Borg, or Borg and Cybermen, or Romulans vs Sontarans etc etc.. many as yet untried combinations remain.

  • @walter0bz Who cares? It would all end up being/sounding the same anyway.

  • @angelix - well, clearly you're watching the wrong you-tube vids then

  • @walter0bz Cybermen vs Borg would be...... interesting. Hate the theme music though

  • @walter0bz Jem'Hadar vs Sontarans would be a good one, both cloned soldiers.

  • No you got it wrong its "exterminate!!" "assimilate!!" or "delete!!"

  • @mockingjay111 Thats what they have to press when the warp factor drive fails.

  • I"M SO JEALOUS! This is the kind of thing I IMAGINE but don't have the technology to DO! 5 STARS!

  • Oh no! Adric survived?!?! Just when we thought we'd got rid of him!

  • Especially at the end of ORINGINAL DOCTOR WHO episode where Adric crashed into that plant-(ADRIC DID NOT SURVIVE>=(P....)-Lady asks,What will the ARCHOLOGIST THINK? The DOCTOR just smiles mischieviously =)p

  • her sis

    brill, the timing's spot on

  • That was so funny -- good editing!

And Adric, who was so annoying, deserves to end up on Star Trek.

  • Don't punish the Trek people! x_x

I say let Jarjar have Adric :P

  • Okay, this is kind of cute.

  • So..... they threaten a tiny blue box?

I mean.... you find a sentient being with a tiny powerful blue spaceship and instead of being inquisitive of who or what they are you decide to be hostile?

  • Thats the idea, its funnier that way ;-)

  • I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!! the way these things meld together. Brilliant!

  • very nice

  • HAHAHA wot the fuk

  • A good idea, but poorly executed. The DW part seems fine enough, but the ST side of the story doesn't really fairly portray Picard and the Enterprise.

  • wish they would show the old Dr Who shows with Tom Baker and even Peter Davidson

  • xad, that was Peter Davidson. I really prefer Jon Pertwe. (The 3rd DR.) =Stefan=

  • I mean on TV I knew that was Peter Davidson

  • nice editing and effects.

  • XD This was great!

  • well done!

I would so like to see a part 2 to this

  • NICE! COOL!! FANTASTIC!! BRILLIANT!

  • very cleaver !!!

  • I would use better story line the doctor and his two companions would land the tardis on the enterprise they picard and the crew, the admiral is on bourd and acuses Doctor of attempting to sabatage the ship the admiral is of the master who using a homing signal to bring the Borg

  • come on yall. i'm lmao like super crazy.

  • 5 Stars just for the idea alone!!!!

  • be good if you actually had the tardis appearing on the bridge of the enterprise as it is facing a confrontation with the death star ,

  • now that would be awsome!

  • can u do the dr vs the battle str galacktica

  • Well done!

  • very well done. kinda funny at some points as well

  • nat baad! btw, that girl's cute!

  • will they make a movie of "dr who" ? Dan

  • they did

  • weres part 2

  • Always thought Turlough was Hot!

  • Hee! This is awesome! You did a really great job editing this together.

  • Which theme song is this!?!?!?!

It is insane! I want to know the name of the woman who sings the tone of the theme!!!!!!!!

  • it sounds like theremin to me

  • there's a woman singing as well.

  • It's a combo of the Dr. Who theme and the original Star Trek theme---which had a soprano female voice and theremin singing in it. This has just a soprano voice on it.

  • Very well done! If I didn't know Earth isn't at the border of the Neutral Zone this would've been perfectly flawless! Congrats for that - being 99.99% - surprized how perfect it fit!

  • Okay, that was just plain fun! Love what you did with the theme music, too.

  • very very clever. loved it. don't care about the other comments. i enjoyed it.
