I ain't saying part 2 and 3 are bad, not at all, but they were so different from Halo: CE and what I expected from the sequels at the time. I was disappointed about Halo 2 because it wasn't the Halo I was used to.

Some people told me that I only prefer Halo: CE because it's my first Halo game and that I would have liked the later two parts the most had I not known part 1, that might be true, but I still find this part the very best. I think Halo Reach will be more like it.

Well at the end, don't quote me on how correct it is. But Chief asks "Did anyone else make it off?" after they blow up the Halo itself and Cortana replies "Nothing.... Just Dust and Echo's." while scanning for life.
