Blockland Alpha came out in November 2004. Eric Hartman had plans to make a sequel to Blockland Alpha, and it became Retail. Since then Roblox started to develop their game. Before Roblox wrote the first script line of their game, Eric Hartman was already 2% done with Blockland Retail.
