It was good for the time, but it was clunky, frustrating, and ignored its young lesbian fan base pretty much after season 1. For all we know, she could mean that she thinks it's not right to have feelings for a close friend outside of friendship or just because she never thought it'd was right for HER, not with a moral meaning. I'd find it hard to believe that someone playing a lesbian for three years would call it 'not right'.
