I would not drive through a wetland. I may not be perfect, but I am a responsible wheeler, pick up others' garbage when I find it out and about, and keep to trails most of the time and am careful & aware of the environment when not on established trails.
The reason they are shutting down certain trails is from the people who mow down the vegitation to make "new" trails. Now, an environmental spill of oil or other fluid would pick my @ss, but there was no harm done in this video. I guess I am a tree hugger then, but tred lightly is the motto, there are a lot of people doing far worse out there.

What you are driving in is a marsh, a wetland. There is no road here, driving this is not a means to a destination, but distruction of wetland. At one time there was way more vegatation here but as people blast through the mud they are mowing it down. I am not a tree hugger but I am a responsible offroader and I stay on the trail.
ahh i think your only partially right there. This location "was" a means to a destination due to the fact that its a cutline. it was surveyed through as a temp road allowance. the vegetation would take years to regrow in this area...even without destruction
more than deep...I was boating! Completely off the ground, slowly sinking, but continuing to move forward with momentum from entering. The first time I went through, the other direction, was easier and faster because I hit the deep end after good momentum built up!
