Also, learn to turn away from all the magazines. Never look at magazine racks, never see any movies with sexually explicit material, even if it's just a woman with a lot of exposed cleavage. Watch the video games you play, stay away from sexual themes. Cut off the female friends in your life who are slutty, flirty, and cause you to be tempted. The thing is, when you do these things, you will begin to find joy, because freedom from sin is correlated with loving God, which brings great peace.

I overcame pornography completely, but, once that is dealt with, there are still other issues, the chief among them being lust. I strongly encourage every guy to strive hard to find a Godly wife. I am engaged now, and I channel a lot of that sexual energy into working hard to afford an apartment and get married, and it has been blessing. Yes, I have fallen at times, but it's getting better and better. I just want to be totally free of lust, that's the core issue.

@rokwing I struggle with lust as well. God allowed me through his strength to overcome pornography, but lust is a struggle for me as well. I realize that there are many places online that I have to stay away from to avoid falling into sin. I still fail at times, but yes God is renewing my mind everyday to become more like him. 73% male, 28% female. I think I see where the problem starts... But I do like this video! And agree. I don't think it's really so much porno that's the problem, but rather the society as a whole that is too geared towards sex. If you're standing on a surface that's slanted towards the left, don't be surprised if you take an occasional step to the left while trying to walk forwards...

I have personally struggled with pornography for years, but by the grace of God, prayer has helped to wane my urges. By the grace of God I can't remember the last time I viewed porn, but prayer has saved me from my struggles. Keep up[ the good fight brother's, I'll be praying for you--

Ok just another person saying the obvious, there is adulterism every where and the seed is being spread.

Now lets focus on how for our selves to give up this sin to Christ. We must cut our selves from all the sources. We must prey to Christ more, we must resist the temptation of our adulterous sources, we must strengthen our associations with in the christian community. I don't know about comparing porn to sports... NFL revenue was 5.8billion last year. NFL players get paid up to 15 million a year. A 30-second advert during the superbowl 3 million dollars for 30 seconds. The US has spent 900 billion dollars on war since 2001.
