The running back had already graduated, and about living with coaches, these kids that came from down south had just lost everything they owned, Bastrop had a coach that knew them personally because he coached them the year before, He was a family friend to these players and helped them in a time of need and got accused of "recruiting".

You really need to go back and look at some of the close games that Destrahan had in 07.I think you will see that Bastrop had a larger margin of victory against the same teams.There's no doubt that Destrahan had a good team, but they would not have beaten Bastrop!!!!!!!!As for bastrop not being as good in 08 you will be shocked at how good they will actually be.They already have two players going to LSU and several other big time SEC prospects.Bastrop has the number 1 recruit in the state.
