I was thinking of one of these after my CBT next week.... These jinluns rumble more then some of the others, I heard some of these chinese and korean bikes actually use unbranded Yamaha Engines? Is that true? BTW Nice start off that junction there! Your bike sounded sweeet as dude. Cant wait to get out Low Riding.
I just got a Jinlun Custom Nevarda 13 two tone blue/silver best ride i have had on a bike so far and ive riden many types of bikes now for over 30 years +..5* vid ..
Nice! I'm thinking of buying a bike like this, although it will be my first after I pass my C.B.T , would that be okay or do I want to look at somethnig more scooter like? what tips are there for riding a bike like that?
Well if you are interested in riding a proper big bike at a later date then the Jinlun is a great step in that direction. It handles like a full sized machine as its quite a big bike for a 125 and it will teach you all the fundementals of riding a decent bike.
If you go onto scooters then I consider that to be ok but perhaps a wasted oppurtunity.
I passed my cbt 4 weeks ago and got a 125 pioneer nevada there basically the same as a jinlun all the same parts and everything just a diffrent name on it and really big for 125s plus a bit cheaper new there fine for first bikes they dont really have enough power to throw you around if you make a mistake but 1 tip for you is do not turn a corner at speed haha atleast not when you first get it made that mistake my second day of owning it and ended up breaking up a pavement lol
@depoty well.. i still like the looks of this bike. but to answer your question on his behalf either a honda shadow or a yamaha dragstar :) ( for 125 anyways ) ride safe
read up on history dumbass, the reason why you cant learn on a big bike (and never will in this country) is because around the 70's people just jumped on 500cc's and died because of lack of control, and anyways, a jinny is a real bike, because its physically there durgh.
Hi there, I've got one of these and it's a great bike, though I'd really love to change the front sprocket to maybe a 14 tooth. Can you recommend any good places to buy them from? Thanks.
Hey, I'm 17 just asking around on the net and im on the hunt for a smart looking 125, and im torn between the JL125-11, JL125-13 and the Honda CA125 Rebel. Any tips would be appreciated. Just would like to know your opinion on either/both of them as a starter bike. Thanks, James!
jinluns are ok, but remember, check an see if you can get it serviced around you. some places wont toutch them. my m8 has one, looks really cool, but had some stupid little problems. kick stand sensor, so bike always stalled. water got in the feul too. battery failed. all replaced now. and so far, 2 years on and its running good.
Hi there I have had my jinny for 12 months and it aint failed me yet people in hear bitch about them not being a real bike because there from china but there put togeather over hear and you can customise it parts are easy to get as they have a parts dept in the UK so get a jinny you wont be dissapointed
I've just bought one of these. Cracking Bike!! Is it me or does the speedometer seem to come down very very slowly? Unless you are taking corners at more than 30MPH!!
I have got my CBT next week so i can't wait to get out on mine and ride it.
What's the top end speed of your bike? The guy who owned it before me says it is run in (1802 Km's) and will now cruise at 65mph and at a push with get around 72mph.
beginer? get honda varadero 125cc. comfy, economic, big and nice ride mate:)

Seems really slow. Is that really how fast it is or is it just the camera? I'm talking about acceleration by the way.

Whats the fuel consumption like on one of these 125 cruisers?
I'm sixteen and my godfathers shipping one over from germany for me this year, so i wont be very high on cash.
Also, will i have to re register it?
Im in ireland and its registered in germany.

I've heard that it's difficult to find an MOT centre that'll do an MOT because it's a Chinese bike, is that true?
TheKnightsShield 1 year ago
@TheKnightsShield saying that is a bit like saying japanese cars like honda cant be MOT'd. So no, it isnt true lol :)

Please read the info of the video. re 17 tooth cog. Also its only a 125 and they are not the fastest bikes around, hence ideal for a first bike.

Damm its so slow!
SZYBKIErece 3 years ago
and also the limit in this country is 60 so why the hell you would want to exceed that limit and get pulled over is just plane stupid
kmt260284 2 years ago
Its excellent as a first bike, its a full sized bike and is great and extremely practical to learn on.
It handles and holds the road well, looks cool and is very reasonably priced.
You wont be dissapointed, so do yourself a favour and go for it !
