  • YOU CAN MAKE SOUP!!! WTF!!!!

  • Wellness Detective says I have had my vitamix for about 1 year now and really enjoy it. I use it mainly to make green smoothies for breakfast in the morning. I have a 5200 series and didn't realize that i could make frozen drinks as well as sorbet. Thank you for the new ideas.

  • I bought my Vita Mix about 30 years ago for almost $300. It still runs like new. The old 3600. That's $10 a year! You can buy a cheap blender if you want but it will cost more than $10 a year. Vita Mix price may be high but the cost is low. Try to crush ice in a cheap blender and you will go through 2 a year. At $50 a pop that's $100 a year. NOW THAT'S AN EXPENSIVE BLENDER!!

  • Not really got time or patience to fart about with these things... Got a smoothie 2 go blender... And I get nothing but froth! = (

  • I was in bed bath and beyond and compared this blender at $500 to the Health Master with the 1200 watt motor for $200. I previously owned an older model of the VitaMix but decided to try the HealthMaster. This thing is a beast and I have had nothing but a first class experience with the health master, it worked as advertised! I took the money I saved and bought a NuWave oven (which I also recommend)!

  • To those bitching about the price I suggest that you purchase the HealthMastert at half the price. But read reviews first. Lots of breakages and a shitty warranty (60 days on all but the motor.) Vita-mix offers 7 years! In this disposable world, the Vita-mix is a quality product. Buy once, cry once. Btw, let's see make nut butter of smooth smoothies with your cheap blenders.

  • what is the difference between the "professional series" and the "5200" models?

  • @upcycle "5200" is made from industrial parts.. "professional" is made from aircraft and military parts...

  • @NeoQuello where did you find that out?

  • @upcycle the 5200 is a little more updated

  • @upcycle They are mechanically the same. The only differences being that the 5200 is exclusively sold through Vitamix and the CIA features a different recipe book.

  • WHT that fukin' THUMPING constant noise. Some may call it music.

  • I've had my VitaMix 5000 for SEVENTEEN YEARS and it works as well today as it ever did (and I use it practically every day). One of the best gifts I've ever received in my 51 years!!! AWESOME machine!!!!

  • @Skylark2020 - I just bought mine and I cringed at the price - but for 17!!! Years!! - Wow! I think I made a great investment!!!

  • @Skylark2020 Is it now 19 years old? That's amazing!

  • @TheLoserKingdom Yep... My Vita-Mix is about 20 years old (might even be a bit more) and I use it virtually every day. [Last used this morning...] Not only does it function like new, it LOOKS just about new, and is hardly distinguishable from whatever model they're making these days. And I've never had to have it repaired, or have any parts replaced (although I did buy 1 additional "wet" container). Truly worth every pretty penny to me...

  • I don't care what it does or how well it works. I can't see myself spending $400 for a stupid blender. I can buy a new desktop for that much. I think Jack Lalanne has a blender called the HealthMaster 100 that does everything that this one does for under $200. I'm sure this is a great blender but that price is just unjustifiable. Why pay more when you don't have to.

  • This is made more for restaurants not common guys. I would neither buy a blender over 100 bucks for home proposes. It will be money waisted.

This kind of machines have lots of power to crush ice cubes in seconds, noise reduction, microprocessors in it.

I have a blender over a ten hounded dollars for my business and one less than 100 bucks for my home.

Just if you are a common guy as 99% just buy one handy.

  • I paid $1300 for my blender
