  • I learned this lick and went to my regular lesson, where we happened to be working on blues in A. My teacher recorded a 12 bar in A and then told me to play over it while he wrote something out. I threw this lick in a couple of times, and he was impressed. Great fun, thanks.

    Tom

  • hey mojo ,another gr8 vid thanks for that,

a problem i have is , is that i can play the licks you teach etc with no problem with a bit of practice, i have been on the am pen scale now for months i can play it up and down and what ever way no problem, what i CANT do is jam or solo , or improvise , is there any hints or tips u could give me as im startin to lose heart in it and just going bak to playin normal songs,

  • I'd recommend listening to a lot of the greats, then learn their solo note for note. Then keep playing and stay away from their notes and let yours show up :)

  • No such thing as too many E blues licks!

  • That's what I thought! :D

  • Love the design on the Crooks.
