yeah..interesting,the tune is pretty much based on an old instrumentl by the ventures called sleepwalk,i know this cos i wrote some lyrics for it too!
This is NOT a reunion, just an off the cuff studio jam after McCartney paid an unexpected and unannounced visit to John in the studio in LA. So, it's not evidence that the magic was gone... just that John and Paul never did seriously consider getting back together before John returned to Yoko in 1975.
I love the fact that, on John's head, there is an image of Yoko and him kissing and (I believed it is) Paul making an "ew-face" and, on Paul's head, there are pictures of John and him. I said that I love it but I actually kind of dislike it even though it is the sad truth, the unfortunate fact. John was lost, Paul was lonely.
@sneakerino i hate when people blaim yoko.. the band was rocky for ages at the end before john met yoko.. she did add stress on the band by being on set.. any of the beatles will say it was not her fault.. but i do agree with you.. the magic is gone
@Mrtokabowlful Well John also "used" Yoko to antagonzie the other Beatles (especially Paul and George). George pretty much took the bait and was openly insulting to Ono. Paul tried to pesuade her in a kind of "behind-the-scenes" way - asking her if she had to always be present, etc. John wanted Yoko with him at all times. It was just frosting-the-cake for her that the others were agitated by her presence in the studio. John wanted out but could not take that final leap for some time.
Haha i kinda love this,it makes me sleep
