  • anyone can legally fly a Part 103 aircraft such as a Belite. Even those who have been denied medicals.

  • i'm a private pilot that was denied a medical, can i still fly the Belite 254

  • @cschmille Absolutely! No medical or bad medical is OK.

  • What's the static thrust of the Hirth F23? What prop are you using? Any info about consumption?

  • @ecaredit We estimate the static thrust of the Hirth F23 as 250 pounds. Fuel consumption is 3 gph.

  • I bought the tooling that was originally used to produce the KFL. So yes, the fuselage is a virtual clone. The wings were updated with a carbon fiber alternative, in addition to the original aluminum wing.

  • Is this based on the Kitfox LIte?

  • @nocalsteve Yes.

  • Saw you guys at Airventure, and dammit you guys have a great product on your hands! It's amazing that you guys managed to squeeze so much out of the tight part 103 guidelines. Your ingenuity is outstanding - you guys can make a mile out of an inch.

I'll be looking for an ultralight soon, and you guys have caught my attention. =)

  • there is nothing better than flying low in a nice slow ultralight, these things arent about speed.
