The biggest terrorist threat to the United States is the Federal Bureau of Idiots. It was the FBI that massacred 76 men women and children by burning them alive at Waco and it was the FBI that murdered a woman holding a baby and a 14 year old boy at Ruby Ridge and it was the FBI that covered up the murder of 230 people on TWA flight 800. The FBI are the true terrorists that maim and murder without ever facing any consequences.
Kudos to Dr. Vlasak for his compassion and his courage. Shame on our sick society that allows as "legal" all forms of extreme cruelty to our fellow earthlings.
terrorists...sure fine. we don't understand how liberators of life are labelled as terrorists, when the animals are being terrorized by corporations protected by the government.
FBI=Gestapo. they're a joke. they can't catch Anonymous, they can't catch ALF and they can't catch a fuckin' cold!
Why is there no world peace? Because corrupt people and the weapon industry wants the money and power. Why are there 1 billion hungry people despite food for 6 billion. Because people want 20 sorts of cereals, desserts and so on. Because the big companies gain profit from poverty and chaos. Like the Chinese said when they invaded Tibet; heaven and earth will be turned upside down. Now good becomes evil and bad is tolerated. And animal/nature lovers are terrorists. Nice world we live in.
'A Nation of Humans'? WTH? Did he just forget about our non-human Sisters & Brothers? 'A Nation of Beings', how's that?! Listening to the reporter made my mind go numb; thanks for waking my mind back up Vlasak.
The reporter is a bit slow, but so are many people. Bless you Vlasak. You are a hero. And, you're a great debater. Turn the conversation back to where we want it to be.
Puppy Lovers and Tree Huggers are terrorists? Vandalism is not 'violence' and certainly not 'terrorism'. I hope the real terrorists (those who perpetuate terror on animals) and money lovers who support the terrorists all get reincarnated into the animals they terrorize and kill along with those who support them.
Bless? Are you kidding? I hope so. If there really was a God (there is no evidence btw, a book doesn't prove shit) he would not allow the slaughter of billions of animals each year and the torture of millions of animals. Why try to save animals and fight for their cause if you believe in an omnipotent God? Especially a God that is OK with killing animals, like the one in Judaism, Islam and Christianity.
The Federal Bureau of Idiots and the vivisectors are the real terrorists. The FBI calls everyone but themselves terrorists. It was the FBI that massacred unarmed men women and children by burning them to death at Waco and unarmed women and children at Ruby Ridge and none of the killers had to answer for their actions.
I love how the commentator keeps avoiding the damn argument. Does this guy even know how to debate or discuss anything properly? All he keeps saying is "WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE" or stupid things like "WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT". The topic is on ANIMAL RIGHTS, not about "someone playing god". Good grief.
omg, stop interviewing this FRAUD! the alf is completely de-centralized, what part of "we have NO leader" do these people not get? this guy is a joke and discredits the alf.
Animal rights people should NEVER use any drugs EVER. If they do they are fucking hypocrytes. Most of all of them are tested on animals. They should be ashamed of their own families for I would say they had used something tested on animals. Heres an idea.....Let the cunts have drugs tested on them.......
I think it's disgusting that the compassionate, morally correct people are labelled as terrorists when the real terrorists, the animal abusers, are given YOUR tax dollars to kill and maim sentient beings in laboratories. The real terrorists are the vile, pathetic excuses for human beings are the ones who torture animals, the ones who start wars in foreign countries over oil, killing innocent humans in the process. Blacks, women, Jews, all have their rights. Now it's the animals' turn.
The ALF has never harmed a single living being, yet 12 U.S. citizens are murdered daily by illegal aliens. 4,000 a day--an increase of 500,000 a year since 9/11/01 cross the border. The Attorney General sits on 3,000 murder warrants for illegal aliens who've fled to Mexico, and the INS cuts loose 35,000 criminal aliens instead of deporting them; 11,000 of whom went on to commit 1,800 felonies, 98 murders, 142 rapes, and 44 kidnappings.
And the ALF is the FBI's No.1 domestic terrorist?
@CDLver Where are you getting these numbers? 0.o Did you say 4,000 illegal aliens cross the border into the U.S. like, daily??? I'm tired right now so, sorry if I'm reading your post incorrectly but that doesn't at all seem like that could be right if that's what you meant. Actually 4,000 a month is a bit higher than I'd have guessed... =\ Also with the part about felonies, murders, rapes, & kidnaps um like what time frame are you saying these numbers add up in??
@MrEllisRedding, "Who Left the Door Open?" TIME Magazine, September 20, 2004, Donald Barlett and Jim Steele. It is estimated that 4,000 were crossing each day in 04 just through Arizona alone -- 10,000 daily at all borders.
Department of Justice: From 1995-2000, INS released over 35,000 criminal aliens instead of deporting them. The 'sanctuary policy' of today, however, makes those numbers pale in comparison.
I say again, and the ALF is the FBI's No. 1 domestic terrorists?
@CDLver I have a hard time believing 300,000 illegal aliens cross the border in a month. That's 3,600,000 a year which seems crazy high but oh well I haven't read anything about it myself. Either way you're right, the ALF isn't a bunch of terrorists and certainly not No. 1 on the list.
Dr. Jerry Vlasik is a trauma surgeon, former animal experimenter, and now the Press Officer for the North American Animal Liberation Front, who was invited to testify before a U.S. Senate Committee on behalf of tortured animals suffering in cages at the Huntingdon Life Sciences laboratories.
The FBI cannot make up their minds, eh? One day the ALF are domestic terrorists, the next day their press officer is a witness against the humans who terrorise animals in labs. Go figure that FBI.
this makes me mad the simple answer is PROGRESS if we dont do anything it 'll stay like that all the time and the answer to his fuckin argument that we are a society of human beings is that humans are worth the same as animals
society is held up by the happy ones but it progresses through the dissatisfied
One cannot bear the unimaginable suffering that hundreds of billions of sentient beings go through each year when human exploit them for their greed and palate.. but when mediocracy/ignorance is the problem, one must walk the path to non-violence. If not then, what's the difference between the oppressor and the oppressed.. The very cause that made you moral is b/c of love and compassion. Be diligent my fellow wise friends, for the truth will illuminate and prove its purity above evilness. Peace
the constitution itself is a joke. you can't hold one document which was created so many decades ago as authority throughout changing times. it also annoys me that these reporters only ever tend to focus on the actions of animal rights protestors, instead of focusing on the issue of animal abuse. i suspect the reason is that the programme's sponsors and advertisers are the very same that fund or directly abuse animals.
"Inhumane treatment" the reporter talks about at 3:10. Such mild words for pure evil and insanity, totally unacceptable human behavior, dangerous to all. How dare those clowns not pin that label "terrorist" on that shouting, brutal monster at 3:00-3:20 and all the rest of those types?! This world is totally screwed by "humanity." What a sick and tragic farce.
if fighting for the lives and freedom and protection of animals and going after those who profit from these acts is a extremism then how the u.s Defines extremism is a joke and lax and insulting and to say the animal rights activists use violence( so breaking cages and freeing animals for death and abuse is violent? wtf) and think of this" mega farms kill the animals and destroy the lands around it( i.e nature)" this argument from this reporter is the same Media propaganda i have heard for years
This is a reason I never claim to be "patriotic". I don't believe in just, "we the people" I am completely aware that "people" and animals are all interactive and for that reason... it is a "joke" to me when anyone talks of Human Beings and Animal Beings as not being connected and equal in life-value. United States is well over rated in some areas of it's logic and yes. under rated in others. I'm an equalist and our other relatives and environment are to be included in this equality. Blessings~
2:59- I must have seen that video footage at least 20 times, but it's still just as jarring as the first time I saw it.
I think the day is going to have to come when people are going to have to ask themselves why SHAC and ALF are willing to do this for the animals, rather than just writing them off as terrorists.
I think we in the animal rights movement should really hit the books to find out what helped the other social movements (civil rights, women's movement, etc.) succeed. I've seen the case made that these would not have succeeded without both their "pacifist" side as well as their willingness to break laws.
I agree with what Vlasak's saying: if a vegan world is possible through legislation and peaceful protest, great. The question is, how long are we prepared to wait? Hundreds more years?
@kimberlily1983 ..... What about the billions and billions (trillions?) of animals that will suffer in that time? What if we knew we could spare all of them, or most of them, by burning down a building? Who in their right mind could think respecting property laws is more important than rescuing sentient beings being tortured?
@kimberlily1983 ... Almost everyone who criticizes violence and law-breaking in the animal rights movement misses the point: it's not the violence, the burning of buildings, the breaking of laws, etc. that they really object to. It's who it's done for... If it was a question of breaking laws to rescue humans being legally experimented on in cruel ways, no one would object to the busting down of the doors, the spray-painting of walls, etc. No one would say "try to change the laws first."
Of corse the ex cop has no respect for life.... A.C.A.B

Why are animal rights activists targeted as terrorists?
1) to get the attention from the general public away from the real bad things in the world, like wars, Monsanto, pollution, corruption and so on
2) because huge mass-industries and companies like Monsanto also are political lobbyists and don't want their huge money earning to diminish.
Thus Wall Street bank corruption is pretty oke and they get financial aid from the government. But people with a compassionate heart are terrorists?
