I live in Illinois and I was down there visiting family when all that happened. So uhh fuck heads, it's not photoshopped. I couldnt come home for like a week.
so me and my gf plan on moving to TN and we were thinking about franklin we wanted to start a family there, but i don't know if i have a good enough income to supply a family there. i hear it is pretty expensive i just want a good place for our kids to be raised. is Franklin a good place for that, what kind of income would i need?
@Jmasta90210 I can't answer the income question, but I know that Williamson County is one of THE best counties for education in Tennessee. In fact, I think it IS the best county. It's a great place for children. I live with a single parent and we get along fine. I don't think it's too expensive to live here; it really just depends what part of Franklin you want to move to.
My cousins had to go through this, and I never new how bad it was until I saw this. They live in fieldstone farms. Luckly, they didn't have to evacuate.
Haters of Truth will only reject...it was said that floods would happen in divers places! But this is said to be just the beginning of pain! the smell after these flood smell like death! it's time to set treasure in heaven and let go of the treasure of the earth!
Does anyone have eyes to see all the calamities that are happening and ears to hear the cry for hope? Despair is sweeping the hearts of man. People! I plea with you to hear me and understand God’s judgment is coming upon this world. Man’s final 7yrs in this age is rapidly approaching. If any of you think all the disasters (Oil disaster, volcanoes, FINANCIAL COLLAPSE, etc.) that’s happening so far this year is nothing then keep believing that, and let those who are wise understand the times.
God doesn't get pissed off! Some of u brainless asses do though. Surprised yall can write. To us all: Don't let the morons bring you to their level because they are flooded living at the bottom of the ocean with all the bottom feeders. Circle of lifers! Planktons!!!
I dont understand the people making rude comments about this...
this IS a tragedy. It's like a mini- hurricane Katrina. Especially living through it, it was surreal. I live in Fieldstone Farms, right near where people were being evacuated. Luckilly, most of my subdivision is on a hill. If it wasn't, it would have been about 4 feet deep in our homes. Some people did get flooded, but our community is so great, everyones helping each other pull through this! Please keep everyone in your prayers!
If Bush was still president he would be persecuted. Obama will get a pass. Liberals thinks he walks on water. I would like to see him walk on these flood waters. Thank you Americans for voting for this president. You are reaping what you sow.
What's even sadder is that this tragedy is being used as a venue for hate by all these YouTube account holders, it's sad there are actually people out there who would say things like that. You should definitely try to delete some of these disturbing posts :(
If you didn't have flood insurance, which most of them DID NOT, than you're fucked. Its a sham how the insurance coimpanies have different insurances rather than all incorporated into one bill. I'd know, since I live in FL, and have to have flood, wind, and have to pay more b/c of a 2 story home. Insurance companies are the DEVIL and I feel so bad for those people.
@HomeGrownKush my guess is your 15 and live up north huh. i guess your assuming i am black? lay off that mexican ass weed home boi its made you stu stu stu stooopud.
.
you say i should stop being racist, correct? then why do you call me racial names isnt that hypocritical?
.
stu stu stu stu stupid little punk im blonde headed green eyes and whiter than the peter tracks i left on your moms face. no go lay down a while before i have to play your childish name calling game and cyber kick your ass.
@HomeGrownKush hows that have anything to do with racism bub?, next time you direct a comment at me click the replay button so it shows up in my in box. thanks.
.
name calling is so elementary, maybe someone else needs to go out and socialize. maybe try ease dropping on a strangers conversation then blab obscenity and call them names, see how that ends for ya.
.
or are you just confused because you cant handle the kush and decided to say random things to a random stranger?

lol this is bad? wat r u talking about, its like you have seaworld in your backyard now...and you can even barbecue while ur having fun wat more would you want??
I didn't believe that Rd was THAT bad! I guess I was wrong. I have a couple videos on my page of the flooding where I live and @ a friend's house near Henpeck Market. This town in my home and I'd rather take the few crazy things we get here than other crazy things in different places. If you don't like it here then MOVE! Nobody needs your attitude anyways.
I lived in Florida for 30 years (mainly Orlando) and now live in Franklin and I will STILL take Franklin over Florida ANY DAY! Everyone has their opinion and I know plenty of people who would never leave Florida. But to this one person, middle TN is paradise, despite what happened this weekend. This did not compare to Hurricanes Charley, Francis and Jeanne that hit Florida in 2004. And if you don't like to melt four months out of the year while walking to your car, FL isn't for you.

The Middle TN/Nastyville area is a SHIT HOLE! There's a disaster of every flavor for everyone! The 3 years I have lived here there have been 2 tornado outbreaks, 1 ice storm, 1 drought and now The Storm/Flood of the century! Did I forget to mention 1 gas shortage? If you're thinking of moving here, DON'T! This coming from someone who lived in South FL for over 10 years and went through 2 hurricanes. I'll take those any day over this crap.
@deepblue69 Thanks for your kind words. Most people call this "God's country" due to its almost always idyllic weather and beauty. You sound like one of those creeps blabbing that bad things happen to certain locales. I've lived here over 50 yrs and the one defining feature of our weather is moderation - ONE ice storm, ONE tornado, ONE drought. Maybe that's why 3 of the fastest growing areas in the US are here..
@deepblue69 ...... hey i lived in Chattanooga and south florida..... chatt is way more better!!! i'll trade ya!!! you speekee spanny??? heh..... why dont ya go to fall creek falls or Cumberland caverns or mammoth caverns... and got that down here.... yeah we got the beaches.... but the CRAZIEST drivers around.... road rage.... people that dont caRE.... trade ya!!

@anyan27, you can download any You Tube video to your computer with Mozilla Firefox browser. They have an add-on called Download Helper that makes it easy. Or if you don't have Firefox you can go to Keepvid or Savevid and enter the URL of the video and click "save".
I was on many of those roads the day before (Sat., May 1) and seemed to beat the flooding trying to get back to east Tennessee! I cannot believe my eyes. It's upon us now in Putnam County.
