ive crossed the gulf between oregon and kodiak alsaskamany times on 78-105ft boats in january april aug and october seems 3 outta 4 crossings a year weather is same if not worse than this never been throu the inside passage we hit vancouver island and shoot strait across makes 4 a fun 4-5 days

10 KM outside of Port Hardy Bay in Nothern Vancouver Island winds are about 70+ kts. Seas

about 7m waves the Boat is 160 Ft. so ya!!
