i understand that every show does have to eventually end..and i dont mind that part i'd love to see alexis bledel and lauren graham doing other things besides gg) but the way they ended the show was not fair to the fans; the writers totally deprived the fans of a lorelai and luke wedding..throughout the series lorelai constantly talks about how she would love to get married someday and she finally finds the perfect man and she ends up with him..but the wedding was a definite must..

@Bonjouritspooja I've got to say that I disagree with you. Luke's and Lorelai's wedding has been such a big thing until the moment they broke up. I think they realized in the end that to them it's only important to be together - no matter whether they are married or not. Moreover, it would have been a bit weird seing Lorelai totally happy in a white dress while Rory's still thinking of Logan's proposal she defeated.
