  • Still gives me goosebumps!

  • As a 14 year old in East Kilbride I used to go down after school and sit and watch him in a music store that doubled as a childrens store. he was using a black beauty les paul and let us hold it. He was an incredible player then, I think he was 16, after about 6 months he told he was going to be joining Thin Lizzy. Hopefully he has kicked the booze.

  • @prsfrank Im from Clarkston and my brother knew him well when they were kids. Absolutely, one of the greatest guitar players( although not as well appreciated as he should be, who knows why??) EVER. Tremendous phrasing ,speed (when required), beautiful melodic blues runs.EVERYTHING!! On same level as all the absolute greats. I just worry that one day I'm gonna read that he has died because of alcohol.

  • Grossly under rated as a guitarist. A true rock god. For those who have never heard of him you could say that he was the 'Slash' of the 1970's. Good on yer Robbo, keep on rockin.

  • I love Robbo

  • robbo's the man

  • Indeed he is...still has it
