  • Thank you for the post. very enjoyable!

  • One of the best versions I've heard on Youtube. I just wish it were better quality.

  • born to sing

  • Amazing!!Brava!!

  • Hearing her live in this performance in Houston was one of my biggest thrills to date. So inspiring--I fell in love with Handel that night-amazing production-I never wanted her arias to end! How many performers can you say THAT about when it comes to a Handel opera?!:)

  • How beautiful she sings this aria... I fell totally in love with her voice. Sing this aria myself...

  • I fell in absolute LOVE with this production!! Do you have any more clips, or, perhaps.. the whole thing? :)

  • Marta Domingo wishes her Traviata looked this good!

    Okay! that ending was hooooootttttt!

  • Absolutely effing amazing - on every front!

  • A scene for two women. This is tired.

  • Too bad that the quality of this video is like this - otherwise seems to be a nice production.

  • what a positively eerie adaptation.. what was the theme? space cleopatra? that having been said she's a wonderful rendition to this aria! viva Handel!

  • James Robinson's co-production for Houston Grand Opera, Opera Colorado, and Utah Opera, seen in Wortham Theater Center's Cullen Theater. With Christine Jones's sets and James Schuette's costumes giving the production an Art Deco-era flair, director Robinson turned the opera into a 1930s Busby Berkeley-style movie musical being filmed on a Hollywood back lot.

It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL opera!! I saw it back in 2003 - TWICE! :)

  • I agree! The fiercest Tranny hotmess I ever saw!! But the song is gorgeously beautiful. This aria brings me to tears,

  • laura claycomb looks like a fierce tranny hotmess! i love it

  • !Que maravilla de escenografía! Los cantantes también son geniales. Bravo!!

  • where and when was this?

  • I was in this production in Houston, TX in the fall of 2003

  • David Daniels too!

  • what a duo,,,this is probably just a dream for most opera companies in the world!
