wow its so beautiful, anybody who wants to go, try to go before july, because thats when all the land slides happen (trust me you don't want to get caught up in them), i went july/august 2007, the journey was absolutely beautiful but tretchurous. We had to get out of the car every 2 minutes due to the land slides, it was dangerous but life changing in a good way, the walk was hard nevertheless beautiful. PLEASE GO, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

sorry to hear you got sick on going to Hemkunt. So did I becuase of all the food we eat. Anyway thats got nothing to do with God .We Sikhs are privilaged to know of the mediation spot og our Guru, with such rich history. I will go again for the experience and to see this place of great religious and historical importance. For me just going there and knowing Guru Sahib sat here once before he merged with the divine light is a great experience.

I went on the Hemkunt Sahib Yatra in August 2006.It is absolutly amazing.So beautiful and peaceful You can actually feel the presence of something greater than you at Sri Hemkunt Sahib. I will never forget this experience. Hoping to go again soon.Beautiful...Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa..Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh..
