@jimmynb3 Dont know if anyones answered your question, but the turbo S is currently discontinued as it was limited edition but it was replaced by the 911 GT2 wheel. It can be bought from the Fanatec website.
@L92DOutKst Depends on if your using the DFGT on PC or PS3. I know for a fact they are stand alone on the PC so yes they will work with a DFGT, just hook them up straight to USB. On the PS3 I don't know if they will work without a Fanatec wheel.
A lot of people are saying the porsche series Fanatec wheels are amazing. Sounds pretty future proof, if it actually feels like you're using a Porsche wheel they've knocked it on the head. Couldn't really give a crap what shifter/pedals I use that much, wheels the main thing. The fanatec clubsport wheels and stuff sound good. The only problem I think I'll have with this wheel is it doesn't clamp onto a desk easily. It has holes to easily fix it to you rig/desk if you don't mind bolting it in.
isn't there an option to increase/decrease the ABS vibration feature for the clubsport brake pedal...and also a selectable value for the steering wheel vibration when you accelerate?
so that they are independant and usable for all racing games?
This set up with the clubsport is $479- that is just crazy. Considering they are far from perfect- that shifter is a POS. In two years they will have a next gen console and these will be worth about $100 on ebay cause they will be obsolete and besides the guys and fanatec will have new stuff out. These high-quality wheels are going to get A LOT better in the next year. Just get a MS wireless wheel-can find them for $60 if you look- that is decent enough and wait till the next wave of wheels.
if you get a 911 turbo wheel not "S" model. it sells for $199 for whole package which supports only pc and ps3 just like g27or g25. 911 has better review than g25 or g27 and 100 dollar less. forget the clubsport pedal just get a standard pedal.
I ordered the Clubsport Pedals because: No1: Durability. They are bulit to last!
No2: Versatility. I love the fact that you can adjust the stiffness and progression of each individual pedal. My pedals will feel how I want them to feel which is great!
No3: Very quite, unlike pedals made from plastic.
No4: Precision. I can be more precise with my driving. I want to be at the top of the Forza 3 leaderboards!
Lastly. They are high end just like the wheel. A perfect partnership!
On the clubsports you can adjust it to make it stiffer/faster return but it doesn't have that light feel then the pop like standard pedals do - it's a consistant feel through travel. But it is stiff enough to feel very realistic.
tough question,,,standard has pop on its clutch,,clubsport has load cell brake....for choice,,, it's a matter of adjustabilty and your budget....for reality it's equal I guess...
i was really thinking of buying clubsport pedals...until u said the clutch is better in standard made me just buy standard(really tight on money right now lol)
thanks i can now confirm my paypal payment and get rennsport stand instead of clubsport pedals...I can live without brake vibration haha...
To think my integra brake doesn't vibrate :) I dunno about race cars...
Great review. You really should get the separate shifter mount. It's made of some really heavy steel or iron, and the bars are really short so when you bolt it down there is absolutely zero wobble. I agree with you that the rods through the wheel is the absolute wrong way to mount the shifters.
thanks for the review of the pedals. it looks like i will definately be taking out that little metal piece behind the gas pedal to make heel-toe easier.
the h-shifter rod holders got me a little worried by watching your video. they have too much play form what you show. having watched other videos there did not seem to be nearly the play you display, though (shrugs)...

The turbo s pure works on
PC, PS3 and XBOX360 and
is modded with driver downloads.
I see it as an excellent investment
making it futureproof with future
driver updates,

Clubsports are more realistic cause of the load cell brake, it's more like a real car's brake.
