It's amazing that technology has allowed us to document people of such legendary music. If camera's and camcorders had been invented during the times of Beethoven and Mozart to allow us to see them in person and hear their voices today would be incredible. Hundreds of years from now people are going to be looking at these videos and will still be listening to their music, realizing what beauty people could create with their instruments and the emotional impact they left on the world

what's with the beatles? they were as big then as they are now. Arguably THE biggest band ever and every band will be compared to them. They're the blueprint for anything succesful. To this day people still say "its like the new beatles" or "its beatlemania again". Plus robert says it best when he says that the beatles have been an influence for every band in how they came across to so many people.

the thing is, that the beatles were soo big in the sixties, that when they broke up all these bands had finally a chance to get to n.1. and the beatles were then rightfully and already seen as rock legends, who created a new sound. thus all new talented bands such as ledzep were naturally compared to tham. but it IS annoying to us, cause we know that ledzep is on the same devine level as the beatles (can't really compare them, they're both different and great at waht they did).
