I thought you did very well through finding your distance and spots.. you got a little deep into your box so when you did your turn around and went to walk out you looked to be to close and it probably would have been a plus if when you asked him to walk out he didnt take that first step with his right as a chip then walked over with his left. that can make or break a score from a 1/2 to a plus 1.. your back up, you got a little side to side happy. that takes away from a nice clean back up

@ilymanda43 the most i could say is make sure you know your spots, like walk the pattern before you show. and dont get frustrated over a tick or hit, just keep on riding your pattern b/c that can make a huge difference. no matter what happens show the pattern like you want to win ha sorry if that doesnt help

yeah, I used to do gymkhanas with my horse, but he was rescued, so malnutrition finaly caught up with him... Now we are starting to do show, but nothing serious as he is 20, has terrible confirmation and I highly doubt he could ever be like this! haha eitherway, it is just for fun now. But we completely bomb at trail because he drags his feet like a troll! and we can't even walk over poles without hitting at least two...
yeah he is the best! he is still used for hippotherapy and beginer lessons. way back in the day when we had our big ranch, over 2/3rds of our school ponies were rescued. We'd get them, work with them until suitable for schooling.
and gymkhanas are games on horseback - barrels, poles, key hole, 75 (which we owned at lol) etc.
U were awesome! I just started the qh circuit and hope 2 be as good a rider as u! I am currently lookin 4 a new horse and hope 2 go 2 congress this year. Good luck showing this year, I know you'll do great!:)

um yes i do at times, at regular shows its not that bad but at the big shows like world im nervous before i show but when i start the class i guess i forget about my nerves and focus on the pattern lol

i show showmanship halter hus eq pleasure horsemanship western riding and trail so the all around lol n no i dont think the parents have to be registered b/c a lot of mares rnt registered

aw that sucks cuz gville doesnt have gamming. but if u have a truck just buy like a 3 horse. unless u cant afford it but there r really cheap used ones thhat r in gd condition
