@MrVanDep I am sorry but DVR cards can not be installed on laptop computers. They require desktop or tower based PCs. The reason is that you need to have an open PCI or PCIe slot that can fit a full sized card in it.

Yes, you can watch from your laptop using the remote viewing software. The main system can not be run on a laptop though.

If you want to get the most out of your PC/DVR system you should get a 1 TB hard drive.

I can record 4 cameras 24 hrs a day for 21 days straight with out my hard drive running out of space.

Also, with what some companies want to charge you for a 500GB HD you can get a 1TB which is double the space for almost half the price. Just look them up before you buy.

If you can install this card in the video you can install a HD.

Yes, PCI slots can be used to install graphics cards also. In this case we are using the PCI slot to install the DVR Card.

Well he installed a four camera slot so im guessing it can have 4 cameras. Also there is no limit on how much u can record unless you are running out of space on ur computer's hd.
