its an SE. the difference is the SE has the 5 speed out of the GSR/RS. rather than the 6 speed tranny from an MR... oh and also badges.... i think thats it

Dunno where they sell SE's but on this side of the world we get the RS/GSR/GT/MR and they all come with the diffuser.

Oh and as for your previous post I did the exact thing you just described with a SIR Civic so it looked like a Type-R.

Cheaper than buying the real thing and just trick out the engine.

I'm just saying I have never seen an Evo 9 without a diffuser.

in the US none of them came stock with the diffuser because the US requierd the large crash beam in the rear and the deffuser bumper could not fit over it. there are alot of ppl here now that take out the crash beam and put the diffuser bumper on because of how good that thing looks, but not as safe i guess

@Mrchops555 Got a SST Evo X at a price I couldn't refuse and we drive on the other side here so no conversion. Shouldn't be much difference to ship though. Cost me $1500 ball park. I was going to convert mine to full manual but after speaking to everyone here they said its too nice of a car, just sell it and buy the manual. The tranny is only good for about 340bhp and stock is 290 so doesn't give much room.

Has the magnizium alloy turbo, aluminium roof etc.

Yea i think both are amazing cars! But i had to choose i think i would go for the sti Cuz of the engine.. its runnin the flat four.. Amazing Sound and feels more beefy.. if there such a word??.. Also there is a 6th gear for a more fuel efficient.. the handly and traction they lay down is Amazin from both cars!! I was tryin to decided my self not too long ago.. i was going for the WRX.. but i backed out and bought a vauxhall cavalier turbo.. another amazin feat of enginering!

no not really. wastegate and blow off valve just release the extra gases at a certain point. aftermarket ones can help maintain boost and eliminate boost spikes and such.

stock evo does not have much turbo lag because the turbo is small so it doesnt take much exhaust to get it spooled. an EL manifold will help and i think TBE helps a little
