Although God had planned for us to do this, humans are not being forced to act a certain way by God Himself - we are doing things because we want to do them. When Muhammad started his ''religion of peace'', he had to be careful not to piss the wrong people off and came up with his peaceful verses. And if were to say, some Islam been seen doing something against their religion, its their sins that they have to answer themselve but no matter what, their wrong doings will not last forever coz deep inside them they know its wrong & they will definitely go back to the correct path but for those who doesnt learn Islam, they will forever be like that.
After all we are all human. No human is perfect. Anyway, Islam is not a religion to be force. They are told to be spread, those who appreciate will accept those who dont, they are not force to.

Bible was written during a period of 1500 years From 1500 BC to Jesus time. The authors were rich, poor, Illiterate, educated, kings, salves. It is written in three continents. In iraq there's a 40% increase of islamic people converting to christianity. the problem is that all this is censored among islam followers and those who convert are instantly persecuted and killed, because islam is afraid of confrontation. Scriptures say "many are called but few are chosen". Not all who say "Lord Lord will be saved" so being a Christian for name sake is as good as not being a Christian. Now the only person the Bible can lead to is Jesus Christ, who is the Word of God (Kalimatullah) and the Spirit of God (Ruhallah). Of course the Bible is open to peoples own interpretation and all opinions are welcome. But the truth is the Bible talks about Jesus and His coming and then goes on to announce His gift of salvation.

Some things are best left to the benefit of the doubt, and God knows best. If you truly learn Islam from credible sources and follow your heart, God-willing your belief will be strong, so that you won't not need everything to be explained. The proof and evidence that is already before you will be enough, if God wills it.

@voro122 Humans and jinns are the only creations ever made that have their own free will. Whatever actions we commit by ourselves, without influence from outside sources, we are doing willingly. Although God had planned for us to do this, humans are not being forced to act a certain way by God Himself - we are doing things because we want to do them. Now of course, we do have exterior influences, which come into play. However, Muslims believe that Satan and our own human desires lead us to sin.

E.g. There's a verse in the Quran that says (I'm paraphrasing): "Don't approach prayers when intoxicated"
In another verse, it says to leave alcohol aside i.e. don't drink it
Does this constitute a contradiction? No. It's an abrogation. You cannot tell a people who are used to alcohol that they can't drink just like that. You have to ease them into the transition.

@fandanstan I think the peaceful verses contradicts the hateful verses like from Suras 2, 8, 9, etc. That's why Muhammad came up with Surah 16:101. When Muhammad started his ''religion of peace'', he had to be careful not to piss the wrong people off and came up with his peaceful verses. But he was messing up the trade of idols from the Ka'aba and soon they grew tired of him and chased his ass out of town. The peaceful ones of course, they are contradicting the later revealed hateful ones, like in Suras 2, 8 and 9. I think that the later and hateful verses abrogates the peaceful verses from the beginning. Terrorists are reading the Quran just like me, they believe that the hateful verses are the ones to follow.

The real reason for 16:101 and abrogation is, that if you don't cancel veses, they will contradict other verses. When Muhammad started with islam he had to be careful not to piss the wrong people off, so he came up with peaceful verses. Still they kicked his ass out of town and he fled to Medina. Once his following grew and gained political power, then he came up with hateful verses.

The Surahs are all over the place in the Quran. Take Surah 9, the Surah with a verse called the verse of the sword. You know what I mean, do you? That Surah is revealed as second to last, it's actually the 113th Surah. When you apply al-Nasikh wa'al-Mansukh, then the hateful shit will trump the peaceful verses.

Prophet Muhammad at first Stopped people from writing any thing other than Quran because he believed "Katibeen alwahi" (the writers of the word of God) may mix the Quranic verses and his sayings but once Quran was completed then he allowed people to write his sayings which are called Ahadith. And Quran was arranged and printed later at the time of caliph Usman and he got the original protected scripture from Hafsa (Female)

About 20% of the muslims are Arab speaking and about 25% of those Arabs are illiterate. They also stay muslim because they don't want to upset their family, or they don't want to die. Bible was written during a period of 1500 years From 1500 BC to Jesus time. The authors were rich, poor, Illiterate, educated, kings, salves. It is written in three continents. Most of the authors did not see each other as they have gap of maximum 1500 years. During this long period, culture was changed, language was changed, Thoughts were changed. @tootableable ooooh calm down lol, i can clearly see that you are INSECURE, but unfortunately for you muslim scholars have converted, type it in any search box and you will see many testimonies, and not only Iranian imams have converted, many African imams and imams from other asian countries HAVE converted, muslim clerics have also converted, if you want proof use google, youtube, yahoo etc. and you will see LOADS of testimonies, but i warn you it is not for the insecure, but it is the truth.

@tootableable actually there are a lot of them. In iraq there's a 40% increase of islamic people converting to christianity. the problem is that all this is censored among islam followers and those who convert are instantly persecuted and killed, because islam is afraid of confrontation. It has been like this since the very beginning, because muhamed knew he was telling lies. Check faith freedom and see. you should go and search, but not on islamic sites cos they keep telling your old lies.

I aint insecure thats why iam calm, but dont reply to my comments reply to the others (like TheAnya83 )who are giving you proof, and like i said more muslims are converting to christianity than christians to islam, FACT. Search for yourself, there are millions of underground churches so take the already high conversion rates and multiply by 3 to get just an estimate. Chrisitianity is the truth Mohammed was not a prophet.

there are things in the Bible that are the same in the Quran but the Bible has been changed many times it got contradictory and u can't count on it anymore but the Quran was never changed..God said that he will protect the Quran bcoz Prophet Muhammad will be the last prophet so the quran can't be changed so ppl won't be guided astray..You can look at a very old Quran like hundreds of yrs ago and compare it to the one we have now u'll see that they're exactly the same

@tootableable deceived by their brains and satan...that's why the convert...and this guy here he's one of them...he didn't really understand what really means being a Christian, even if he spent most of his life among conservative christians. He's telling some things about christianity, to give a misguided idea...but hey some of those things happen even among muslims, like separation women-men, so now i see why he converted to islam...

@TheAnya83 Did he quote anything wrong from the bible? if not, then ask yourself if what he's saying exist in the bible, then maybe, just maybe the bible is not inspired from God and let your mind lead you to whatever it will. at least this way you will make a rational decision about it all and feel the power of using your brain, which differentiate you from other creations. @ynajim Yes he did, continuously. While Quram is for sure not inspire by God, but a bunch of lies of muhamed. Pack with mistakes, like the shape of the earth, Mary mother of Jesus, sister of Moses, who lived thousands of years before?!?!?! wouldn't God know it? No, the truth is that muhamed invented it misquoting and misinterpreting what Jews and Christians said, inspired by God.
