Poor little kitty! It seems most cats, male or female, are very puzzled and sometimes scared by printers. Is it an enemy? What the hell is it? Either way, it must be under constant surveillance and, if necessary, killed or at least beat up very savagely, intimidated into submission, taught a lesson. The CAT is the boss here, not the evil printer! ;)

he watches it throw out papers and tries to touch moving parts inside.

At one point he pulled out some soft sponge for paint remains.

It's funny, really. She's older now and still is suspicious of the printer. Often, when it's not in use, she will "sneak" up on it to check it out. If I happen to be at the computer I'll send it a print. That gets a jump out of her and she'll back off to a safe distance to watch.

I've heard a few people recently refer to her as a calico. It's true, she has the calico color groups. But I think she's more correctly called a tortoise shell or a tortie for short.

Yeah, she's a Tortoise Shell. ^-^ Calico's colours are more "blocky" and not are marble-like. Beautiful kitty. =3

Actually what the difference is is a calico has over 50% of it's body white, while a tortoise shell has less than 50% white fur.

@sofraj In the UK she's called a tortiseshell (the variety with seperate coloured patches and white is refered to as tortie and white). In the USA those markings are called calico :)
