I guess because these glasses were just cheap promotional items made for McDonald's (or maybe just anyone who wanted to buy them).
Many products are actually probably a lot cheaper to make than you think.
so quality can be good but cheap to make? lol
Well, cheaper to make than they sell it for - that's how companies make money.
