  • i ve been a musician all my life and i dont have a fucking clue what they are talking about

  • what kind of stra[ locks do you use?

  • 11:38 Phil's mind was so saying F*CK YOU!!!!!!

  • Hell yeah!!

  • This dude's so great.

  • man, i could listen to this all day ! Good stuff ! Some 'familiar' stories for guitar players.

  • "Rip Your Face Off' should definitely be a new setting. It's one above 11, right?

  • great vid guys

  • "here I'll pull it out"

"he wants to pull it out"

    "WOAH!" XD

  • Re: 6:30 - yeah, I had the same experience back in those days too. It was my turn to get up and play, Phil handed me his guitar, I strum a few chords and say "uh, what happened to the sound?". On top of that, the strings were so heavy (like, 11-52) and the action was quite high. It's all in the hands ... and in your heart.

  • I'm killing babies.....really want me to do more of that? Ok...

  • belli gruassi

  • pass the doobie man wtf

  • I like how Phil keeps looking down at the tiny mic like "WTF?!"

  • @chibisven yeah he should have just attached to his nipple

  • When my shit goes down I just get pissed off. haha I have had a few cussing fits before walking out.

  • Wise words from Mr. Phil X!!! Also, very nice person.

  • lol the story about the pedals not working and having no overdrive pedal at the gig is hilarious! I had the same exact thing happen to me at a gig it all worked out for the best but the second before the first song is the scariest thing in the world lol

  • Who could dislike Phil X? P90's ROCK!

  • Lou looks like Ron Jeremy.... ;-)

Great vids guys, thx for doing them.

  • MASTODON USE THAT PEDAL!!!

  • Hey thanks for the interview, Very interesting

I had a question, you both like the bad monkey alot (me 2) but it's far from true bypass, isn't that a problem for you when playing life and stuff?

Or do you have it in a seperate loop or something?

  • Good interview guys....lots of good info and advice....especially about the out of the box analogy. So true!

  • Lou, man, thanks for doing this interview with Phil, It's great! I told you about that Drop Tune six months ago! You hadn't heard of it yet. I tried it at Rudy's Music in NYC and I definitely heard some warble after the frst couple cycles down. It sounds like an overdriven bass when it's on the lowest increment! Maybe I was doing something wrong but it didn't sound usable past the first drop to me.
