  • I like that Cypress Hill sampled a Junior Parker cover of a Beatles song that was probably influenced by someone else (and then pinched by the Jam on Start!). It doesn't matter, they're all awesome songs.

  • only stupid rich white ppl hating rap music . Rap music belongs to BlackMusic (Soul,Funk,Soul) and WE PPL from the westcoast are very very very very deep into FUNK and Soul Music. Everybody who listen to rap music is Down with Funk,Soul and Jazz.

Who was for the death of Funk& soul music in the 70 & 80s? The rappers? hell no,....it was the metal & hardrock culture. Soul and Funk returns in the 90's with rap music

  • @LowRagg

godamm someone says the truff. word em up, B

  • :-)

  • i like the bass.

  • i wanna get high soo high-

  • HIP HOP IS NO LONGER REBEL MUSIC..... it is blaxploitation...and to say we cannot afford crap is a joke..WE CAN AFFORD ANYTHING WE CHOOSE..this isnt 1960. We have Flashy electronix...Cars, homes...clothing.....

AND MUCH OF THE RECORDING EQUIPMENT IS VIRTUAL such as Reason, fruity loops, etc..Which many can get for free!

The truth is, Black people have become shells of what we once wore musically. And our singers are a bunch of show boats that cant even harmonize NOR play instruments.

  • @themtb2003 PREACH ON IT BRUH... PREACH!!!

  • @themtb2003 MAN I wish u werent right..but its true but i will say this thanks to the internet its alot easier for me to now find hiphop that still has that rebell spirit. eaither way i agree with ur comment. bless.

  • @themtb2003 THANK YOU FOR SUMING UP IN A PARAGRAPH WHAT IVE BEEN TRYING TO TELL THESE "HIPHOP" CATS THE PAST 15 YEARS. LETING OUR CULTURE GET ROBBED AND JUST A SMILING THE WHOLE TIME. VERY SAD. WAKE UP MY PEOPLE :/

  • @themtb2003 DEEP... you are telling the TRUTH!

  • @themtb2003: Dude, you are full of shit, and then some. If anything, if you and everybody else that hates rap/hip hop wanted to see it truly go, you'd have to start by voting in governments (municipal, state, federal) that would reverse the poverty trap many black people are in, and even beyond that (as Frank Zappa said) you'd have these people you elect bring back federally funded programs like music appreciation classes (remember that?) Until then, as Ann Landers said, 'quit yer bellyachin'.

  • @Neville6000 Shut up, you're part of the problem. Keep on blaming whitey! At least I'm going to be accountable for MYSELF, and not blame the man or whitey! Racism can't stop me! White people aren't even the racist majority anymore, WE are. Black people are more racist than any race on Earth! Fact.

  • @hotsizzleakadafizz While I don't know how it helps to make the claim, I have noticed that "The Black Community" taken as a monolithic entity is in some ways far more conservative than the rest of the country, but I am no expert. I can say that I have encountered racist attitudes from Black folks for years, I just ignore it, unless it takes a dangerous tone, then I fucking bail. In closing, I have to words to share with everyone: FUCK HATE.

  • @themtb2003

SO ITS MAYBE THE BEST FOR U TO KILL YA SORRY ASS AND SAVE YASELF FROM THIS SORRY WORLD

  • @themtb2003 So..

  • @themtb2003: No truer words have been spoken. Now we are just caricatures of our former selves, and have lost our once-proud heritage of music creation from concept, arrangement, composition, production and instrument playing. Too bad many of us think the sampling method is the wave of the present & future...

We cannot rely on a musical crutch forever...afterall, what happens when the all the "host" songs are used up? understand the presence of a host requires the presence of a parasite

  • @themtb2003 i agree fully

  • @themtb2003 Same with white folk eh'. I've got a formula for getting on track. Buy an organ- Hammond, Wurlitzer, Conn, Gulbransen models. They are all over craigslist for peanuts, but they are incredible instruments. Learn what an electrolytic capacitor is- it's the only thing that goes bad because they only last about 25-30 years, can fix for $20 in parts & Hammond tone wheel organs have the least of them, everyone should have a Hammond and a Leslie, but Wurlitzer 4300 is great!

  • @themtb2003 so turntables aint instruments?.. thts the things abt blacks, they turn lemons n2 lemonade.. water n2 wine.. school desk n pencils n2 instruments...but i feel u tho

  • @themtb2003

for some reason you just can't tell that people and have them understand that shit out here today AINT MUSIC.

  • @themtb2003 nigger you are right,,,

  • @InfoRoom cracker you are right...

  • This track makes you want to lay back and blaze one.

  • yes IM THE TAXMAN !!!Dope fuckin track !!

  • Lastly, Although I am PRO MUSICIAN...I must add that Junior parker was a HARMONICA PLAYER...so this groove you are hearing is NOT HIM...NOR IS IT HIS EFFORTS... its the efforts of OTHER MUSICIANS...

    the Beatles however...MADE THAT MUSIC.

I Like BOTH songs. BUT ANY RAP SONG I HATE!

Look at the new "we are the world" Most the black males were AUTO TUNED and the choir.Mostly WOMEN!! We have DROPPED THE BALL BIG TIME!!

Theres no way you can refute me on any honest level besides BLIND LOYALTY to RAP

  • Again, I agree. I too play music for a living. The singer in my band says that "rap" is just an abbreviation. It stands for "crap". I realize that it is probably a generational thing, and that I am too old to appreciate it. However, I have to say that if people can't sing and can't play instruments, it is hard to consider them to be "musicians". Also, if you can't hum a few bars, it is hard to consider a composition to be a "song".

  • You obviously know nothing about the definition of music. Who said you have to sing for it to be music? Rap has an instrumental just like every other genre and when one raps, they are reciting poetry in a rhythmic pattern. Just like singing. But rapping requires more intricate rhythm and some have more talent than others when it comes to rhythm.

  • @benzuckerman:Then I guess crappy musicians who can play instruments and write songs but are still crappy fits your definition of what constitutes crap-which means that since you aren't really making it as a musician, YOU'RE crap! Am I right, or wrong? Send me a sample of your band's work, and I will see if its good-if not, then I guess you are as you've insulted others that don't play what you consider 'crap'.

  • My comment was...RAP IS BLAXPLOITATION MUSIC..they are talentless. And so uneducated that the only reaction they understand to negativity is Violence..HAVE YOU EVER KNOWN AN AWARDS SHOW TO BREAK OUT INTO GUN PLAY TILL RAP?!?!

Not even the mob influenced Rat Pack had that type of ignorance.

AND THIS SONG CANNOT BE BETTER THAN THE BEATLES VERSION 'cus the beatles dont have a "version", its the ORIGINAL! Again Showing the LACK OF BRAINS in a PRO RAP person. This may be BETTER to YOU thats all.

  • i'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree on the beatles not having a version. They most certainly do. They have the original version.

  • You are totally correct. The Beatles don't have a "version" - the song is theirs! Specifically, George's.

  • @themtb2003 hip hop is black rebel music

uneducated because we were underpreviledged.. the reason we sample is because some of us cant afford to buy pianos, gutiars, basses, and take lessons... its a recession and were the minority... maybe pay attention before you hate on hip hop... im not dissing the beatles or anytype of music, just shut the fuck up when you talk about hip hop.. u dont and will never understand

  • @CitoSince93 - That's crap, homie! Time to stop making excuses for us black people selling out!

  • Im back, and thanx to youtube's cowardly Default of not showing comments not liked by others, You guys dont see my first comment unless you click "options" view all comments"

  • I love getting high!

  • @themtb2003 on every track? :)

  • @themtb2003 herb isnt a drug those pills you take. for your diabetes or whatever stress those are drugs by definition.

  • Cypress hill made that record dumbass and they are Mexican...what are you talking about???

  • Beatles version is garbage compared to this

  • @t3rr3nc388 You are full of shit. They are different. you shoe disrespect to BOTH artists you dickhead. both contribute, but you fucking negate.

    Ignorant shit.

  • @SomeSpace100 duck sick faggot. u mad cuz im right

  • @themtb2003: And this is what decades of NOTHING but classic rock, white privilege, and anti-black racism does to people; it makes them think that NOTHING new is good. Hope that you die off soon, old fogy.

  • WOW This is a beatles song im a big beatles but this is funky...

  • You mean George Harrison

  • "You mean George Harrison" Harrison and Lennon wrote this together, and Lennon wrote most of the good lyrics. Lennon didn't care about getting a cowriting credit at the time, didn't need the money or attention for it, but he resented it years later when George "forgot" in his memoirs to mention that he had helped him write it.
