DA mislim da ima veze sa tim gdje je rođen.Stekao je bezobrazni napadački mentalitet koji je svojstven nama Dalmatincima.(pa nije čudo da su dva najbolja košarkaša u muškoj i ženskoj konkurenciji 80 godina u Evropi iz istoga grada Šibenika-Dražen Petrović i Danira Nakić).Samo je pitanje vremena kada će se pojaviti opet netko novi vanserijski.
Croatians are not the only ones proud of Drazen, he is a pride of the whole generation of young people across former Yugoslavia from that time. He means more to me, a Serb who grew up with him as an idol, then to any of the young Croatians that have never seen him play. I've spent my childhood with his and Divac's poster on the wall and he will always stay with me.
Ako Drazen kaze da je Hrvat onda je Hrvat i tacka. U ostalom Hrvati i Srbi imaju iste korene tako da i nije toliko bitno. A da je bio najbolji belac koji je igrao kosarku, jeste. Steta sto Hrvatska nije produzila stopama Petrovica, Radje i Kukoca. Hrvatski timovi su bili toliko dobri pre raspada Jugoslavija, ni danas mi nije jasno sta se dogodilo sa hrvatskom kosarkom.

@filfortugno All of his career he played at the NBA level when the NBA was at a higher level than it is now. If I was the coach and a lot more other coaches around were given the opportunity of coaching the Trailblazers at that time he would have been a starter. He deserves all the praise because clocked what basketball is about.

Drazen was my chilhood heroe! I was simplly loving him, I adored him! Cibona Zagreb was my soul-team! Yugoslavia had a very good championship at that time and the basketball team was one of the best ever with Drazen, Divac, Kukoc. And dreaming of them, I started to play basketball on 1988.

If I was the coach and a lot more other coaches around were given the opportunity of coaching the Trailblazers at that time he would have been a starter. He deserves all the praise because clocked what basketball is about.

@delpierocro Nemamo mi sta da budemo ljubomorni, hrvatska kosarka je umrla sa Drazenom. Drazen je bio najbolji ali to je bilo to, jedna hrvatska generacija i onda nista, steta. Srpski igraci i dalje skoro svake godine odlaze u NBA.

Uau! I'm so upset I did not think from so much time ago that could be possible to find videos on Drazen here, too! I'm from Romania, born and grown up in Craiova (so, close to Serbian border). Drazen was my chilhood heroe! I was simplly loving him, I adored him! Cibona Zagreb was my soul-team! Yugoslavia had a very good championship at that time and the basketball team was one of the best ever with Drazen, Divac, Kukoc. And dreaming of them, I started to play basketball on 1988.
