OMG me and my sister would play ghostbusters. She would be Janine and pretend to get a call from a person that needed a ghost to be busted. I'd sometimes run out the front door with my plastic proton pack and other gear. My neighbors probably thought I was a lunatic walking around my yard with my fake PKE meter looking for paranormal activity..LMAO!!!!!

@animationking11 Look at the streets in the scene. They look pretty wet or maybe a little icy. I'm guessing that the scene was filmed when it was cold out, which is why there would be exhaust.

I got excited and smiled when I saw first saw that scene in 1989, and I still get that same buzz today whenever I see it.

Call me a fan-boy if you will, but it's an awesome moment. And to hear Ecto 1's sirens wail away - I can't describe it. It's a pure happy emotion that takes me back to my childhood.

Agreed. My childhood revolved around the Ghostbusters, Transformers, and TMNT. This scene is a historical moment in Cinema history, to me.

And I'm not sure why I'm even taking the time to reply, when I have an unopened copy of the game sitting 3 feet from me. lol

@IrisCorven Ghostbusters was the first movie I went to the cinema to watch without adults, just me and a friend. Made it an adventure in itself, and it was just the right movie for such an occasion! The pride of buying one's own ticket, one's own candy, and being brave enough to watch a ghost film all on one's own! And we LOVED all the ghosts! The slimer and the marshmallow man!

Im 35 now. Been lovin Ghostbusters since I was 7. Built me a one to one scale proton pack with working lights and sounds too. Your teacher as you assert knows' fuck al'l about cinema. For one thing this movie was made with old school special effects that recent movies. Lack . For me movies lost something in cgi and greenscreen.
