i loved this movie. the story is great and the actors in the movie make it even better. Its not all about combat its more of the story and about soldiers home lives. i would def. recommond seeing it if you havnt yet. you will love it if you are into military or were apart of it yourself

i agree home of the brave is an amazing film, and it shows you soldiers are expected to come home and live their lives as usual even though their lives will always be scared.

Good story line and okay action scene, but what I just don't understand is why they wear their fucking berets like that. Why? That is bullshit. If I were to wear my beret like that in JROTC, my ass would get chewed and I'd be doing an ass-load of push-ups. Somebody, anybody please give me some kind of explanation. I sure as shit know that if that were actual army, they would be considered out of uniform. Was the costume designer just trying to make some kind of liberal statement?

Ya, but it's not that hard to get a beret looking half-way descent. All you have to do is get it wet and put it on and don't take it off till it dries. I'm not saying the movie is bad. I'm just wondering why they let simple mistakes that can easily be fixed go wild. Mainly I wish they'd make more movies about the Iraqi war with a positive outlook, instead of all thes fucking liberal smackdowns. It's gotten to the point where people even protest the war by making movies about it.

I will say this, I don't understand what was so liberal about Lions for Lambs. I just watched it, not a bad movie. I don't know what everybody's talking about. I mean everybody I know say it's a liberal smackdown. If they'd just watch it they'd probably have an extremely diferent view about it. There are a lot of movies out there that are liberal smackdowns, though.

That actually impresses that In iraq it is much different then what it is in america. How you have to fight for everything you do and you can't even drive your own vehicle into the town unless you watch your back. I think its one of the best war movies published in the wake of the Iraq war. How people dont know what the problems of soldiers face when they come home from the war.
