man you have the best car on earth! its quite beautiful, you made some modifications to the interior right?? how much did you pay for it? man, this car is the nice of the nice, you are so lucky, i wish someday i can have one like this!!!
Nice ride... I wanted a solstice or Sky, but unfortunately Im too big to fit in one. I settled on the 08 cobalt SS - same power, almost the same weight, and handles better stock for stock. But its FWD instead of the RWD it should be.
just an update, i had a change of heart and decided to go with the convertible. i still however, think that the coupe is just as beautiful as the convertible. within the next two months ill be posting a walk around of mine. once again, great color choice... Brazen kicks ass.
I'm interested in the coupe in this color too...I didn't know you can order it already, did you do it at a dealership and about what is the price going to be for the GXP Coupe? Thanks

fantastic looking roadster.
now get a japanese engineer from the miata group to show GM how to do a roof (and up the build quality, says consumer reports) for a chance at selling more than a few of these
First, the roof isn't from GM. And the Pontiac Solstice is the number one selling roadster since 2006.
I just bought myself one nice GXP. I tryed many roadster before it. The Solstice is one awesome machine, that I can tell! The only downside I can see with the Solstice is the trunk area. It is realy small... but I don't need one.
pontiac is a division of GM, like scion is of toyota.
best selling? well, i looked into this car but consumer reports states that the build quality is well below average so that is just sad considering it has so much potential.
the GXP is beyond sexy!! so congrats on that but i just hope the car holds together past 40,000 miles?
It will must certainly hold together past 40,000 miles since the car's build with aluminum (the engine too). Only the monococ is in steel*
And the roof ain't from GM or one of its divisions, lol, it is from a German company (which name I can't remember*). Same for a couple of other roadsters (not just the Solstice and the Sky).
Don't sweat this guy man... The only thing his Miata will see is our exhaust pipes. A base model is near equal and our GXP is far superior than their ancient 4-cylinder. Does the Miata even have direct injection?
Please remove the pin striping. Other than that, nice.

A Honda S2000 does 0-60 in the same time (5.4sec) as the turbo Solstice and it's not turbocharged, Pontiac sucks dick

fwd is for ladies, so they dont wipe out when in adverse conditions like snow or rain.

Traction is shitty on a launch too.. RWD > FWD any day.

My GXP has nearly 36,000 miles and I have had zero problems.

one day in maybe 20 years people will seek these cars out just like they now do alfa's and MGB's and Fiats.
