I vote for the buffalo goal he let in because the leafs lost that game and all their energy seemed to be sucked out when toskala let in that goal because it was close to the end of the game.
The one against the islanders was like 3 minutes in or something, the leafs seemed to get motivated by it and went on to win that game 3-1, other than that blooper toskala had a pretty sick game
He's got the worst numbers of any first string goalie in the NHL and worse than a lot of back-ups too. 44th overall in save percentage last year. Most nights he doesn't deserve to be in the NHL. That's what I'm "chirping" about.
your actually a dust. He was hurt most of last year and most of this year so he hasn't played consistent because of it. You cant compare him to back-ups because they dont play enough to compare too. He deserves to play in the NHL you schmelt just you get over-criticized in toronto.
I wonder how many more soft goals he'll let in before you finally realize he's a mediocre goalie. He doesn't come out to challenge shooters enough, he leaves huge areas of the net open and regularly gets burned by point shots, and his glove hand is atrocious. None of that has to do with his groin injuries. He's never had a save percentage for a season above .910. Stop sticking up for him. He sucks. BTW Go Leafs go! Can't wait for the Monster to play an entire season as the starter.
