@MrTHEPOPTARTS yep, the transformation is in this video. If you do the companion quests the option is given to you. There's also a quest where you can get Hircine's Ring which gives you an extra 'beast form' per day.
If you try doing something (traditional controls like in Oblivion) with your hands, it says really small in the top left corner : your hands are tied (or something). It's also implied that this is true because the other prisoners hands are tied and the fact that your ARE a prisoner.
@MrTHEPOPTARTS On the TV screen that I initially tested the game on, the top left notifications weren't visible. Neither was half of the compass, the health meter, etc. What I recorded here was correct from my perspective at the time.
I only have one problem with your review; obviously your TV doesn't have the right dimensions to play the game effectivley as you said that the game neglects to tell you that your hands are bound but if you had a more appropriately sized TV you would have been able to see the pop-up in the top left corner that tells you your hands are bound there is also the fact that everyone else in your cart has their hands tied up as well so I think if you are going to review a game do it with a proper TV.
@Inskrizengfangatable I was using a Standard Definition TV because I wanted to be one of the first in the world to review it. This is where I found that I couldn't adjust the game to match my screen. Yes, I know I need a new TV.
You can find the health and magic stats if u press B then "up" at skills. Its not really a flaw, more of a design choice. When the health etc is full it isnt shown so that it doesnt get in the way of the screen. Only when a combat situation arises when u are using magic and stamina do the bars show up.
@BaNdIToAnDrEaS The issue was more with the compass not fitting on the screen. But I found a work around for it. I went into the xbox settings and changed it to widescreen. Other games let you adjust the visible playing area.
I actually had that video sent to me by a friend of the show, I think he used Vegas for it. I'm still on the fence for games. Some friends of mine want me to play SWTOR and I'd barely have time for that and if I did that no time for skyrim, so torn!
The PC version is brilliant! Best thing about it are some of the mods... however there was a patch released for the STEAM version that basically did next to nothing except for stopping the mods....

Universally it is...SKYRIM
In Australia, Skooirim.
P.S. you could always skin animals in every TES game since 1994.
AnEdibleCokeCan 2 weeks ago
@AnEdibleCokeCan Maybe, but skinning was never a real focus of the previous games.
XrotarebiL 2 weeks ago
@XrotarebiL And it still really isn't with the exception of making leather/leather strips.
AnEdibleCokeCan 2 weeks ago
@AnEdibleCokeCan Which wasn't in any of the previous TES games since 1994.

@TrecherousMonki I can't really afford, or even really justify upgrading to a HDtv right now.
