  • Is it bad that I have a current crush on Tim considine ? I'm 13 and i love him in spin and Marty

  • This lasted more than one season because I remember my sister being really upset when Kelly cut her hair for season two. She had feathered bangs in season II. Maybe season II did last an entire season, but I distinctly remember my sister's reaction as she has just grown her out like Kelly in the first season.

  • @maliwyoming I agree. The "limited talent" extends beyond just that on camera as far as the kids were concerned. The crew producing this show was not as talented in "writing," "directing," "music and choreography." The other thing that made this attempt at revamping the old show so annoying was the kids themselves. Most of them are too young and were cast through talent agencies, which means they were supposed "professionals." Not all of them can dance from what you can see.

  • @RayPointer Many in this cast did indeed possess experience in entertainment prior to the debut of the show itself so to describe them as "professionals" wouldn't necessarily be an exaggeration. It was Annette Funicello's opinion that this incarnation of the "Mickey Mouse Club" didn't last past one full season because "those kids were too polished." It was neither a lack of talent or the production which sank this project but rather limited distribution and a lack of patience by the studio.

  • Tim, you look so wrong with facial hair.

  • WOW! I had forgot this episode. I wish Disney would put NMMC on DVD. What great memories.

  • When the OLD Disney Channel ran this in 1999, I couldn't get this episode because of the stupid cable company flawing things up, :(! Thanks for posting this clip!

  • Thank you, unnerv, for all your wonderful NMMC videos. I really think those Annette & Tim puppets were so cute at the end! :D

  • sure no problem

  • At first I though they were going to break into the hustle -- Disco Funicello!

  • @discomice It would have helped this mediocre song, which is stage unimaginatively. The "choregraphy" is just as mediocre.

  • Wow! I had wondered if I would ever see this clip again! This song "Sing and Dance" was one of my favorites that was performed live with the mousketeers during there 1978 Easter show, it had a really lively upbeat to it with Scott singing lead and harmonizing with the other mousketeers. Great find!

  • GROOVY!
