There seems to be a miscommunication here. The 20B was only used on the Eunos Cosmo, which was not sold in North America. Therefore, any 20Bs are from Cosmos, and are imported into North America because the car they came in was not sold here. Anyone selling a 20B had to have it shipped over from Japan, NZ, Oz, etc.

They are made in Japan only, so anyone selling one in the US first had to import it. They were not sold in North America, so any Cosmos (minus the older RX-5 Cosmo) on this side of the pond has been imported.

u don't have to get it from japan i've seen plenty of 3 rotors for sale in the us but it shouldn't get that low of mpg haha its not even turbo'd

Where do people get these 20B engines? I hate that most of those people probably don't know that's a rotary, or what a rotary engine is.

The 20B was available on the Eunos Cosmo, sold primarily in Japan. To get a 20B, go to the local Japanese engine importer.
