The way to get rid of your hiccups is.. Calm down, Relax, and Breath very slowly this will slow down your heart beat.. and after few breaths Take one breath in Slowly and hold for 5 - 10 seconds. And voila you're hiccups are gone!
Note: While you are holding your breath DO NOT Swallow your saliva while you are holding your breath.. just calm down and do that slowly.
It's interesting how there are often many ways to treat an imbalance.
Thankfully, I don't have hiccups very often... But apple cider vinegar works for me (1tspn straight down the hatch then as soon as you've swallowed, breathe in). Voila! No more hiccups!
Fun fact: If you have hiccups for 72hours+ it maybe a symptom of a brain tumour

hold water in ur mouth, i recommend WARM water, plug ur ears with ur fingers and swallow. It looks silly, but it works.

Get a spoon full of sugar, let it desolve in your mouth and swallow. Works every single time :)

I hold my breath for 40+ seconds.
Works ALMOST every time.
If that doesn't work:
Fill your mouth with a liquid (I would recommend soda pop-Maybe the CO2 in it helps..?)
Then keeping it in your mouth, DO NOT SWALLOW IT YET.
Plug your ears and hold your breath for 20 seconds.
You can let go of your ears and swallow the liquid now.
Your hiccups should be gone(:
I wouldn't recommend doing this trick in public... You'll look silly.
