    Bulletin - EAS Activation Requested

    National Weather Service Mount Holly NJ

    SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING

    Philadelphia County in Southeast Pennsylvania, INCLUDING THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA. At 2:56 PM, NWS RADAR indicated a severe thunderstorm producing QUARTER-SIZED HAIL, and DESTRUCTIVE WINDS in EXCESS of 70 MPH. Movement toward the EAST at 50 MPH. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

    The storm hit the park just after 3:20 PM, so the warning was good.
