A sharp or flat note (the "in between" notes) requires a different fingering than the natural note (ex. B is the thumb and first finger, B flat is the thumb, middle finger, ring finger, and the index finger on the right hand).
This is a Peter Koblicek Praetorius Renaissance recorder. Excellent company. I believe it's maple? sorry i don't know the wood type. One of my students had a pear wood recorder, prettiest one I've heard. Happy recorder shopping :)
glad you liked it gaurav, this is a piece written in the early 1700's, i'm playing on a recorder, a wooden flute that was used in Europe during that time. Thanks for listening :)

What make is your recorder? I enjoyed your playing, you are very good but a different instrument would make a huge difference.

Really nice. How do you play the "in between" notes? Do you cover half a hole with your finger? Just curious. -Ron

Please be careful with the amount of wind. You should play one note after the another and not 1 second later I Mean:Play legato, not always stacato

What brand of recorder are you playing? And what is the wood? I want to purchase a new recorder, but I can't decide on a wood type. Any suggestions?
